Can’t manage to find/create any fun class or build. Any tips? I’d normally say that I’d love an arpg with more than six skills but in D4 I can’t find 6 skills that feels interesting for most of the classes. Actually tried refunding like day one but you know… blizzard… Apperantly getting past the tutourial in a game about weeks of grinding is too greedy of me
I’ve managed to get all of the classes to 20-25 but I’m having a hard time making myself play any of them.
I was kinda interested in a shock-sorc before I understood the lucky hit stuff, stunning a mob every 10 minutes is kinda meh. (why not remove lucky hit and just say "there’s a 1% chance to stun?) Fire is also kinda neat but it feels so slow.
Bleed barb is also up my alley but after the bleed generator and the bleed spender I’m out of skills. Rupture looked nice until I read it again, removing the bleed effect just makes you fast forward a couple of seconds so I don’t see the point.
Rogue is fun cause it does so much damage but I can’t see anything interesting in it’s tree.
Druid is…
Necromancer is a cool class but again I find no synergies etc in the tree and also not many spells that I like.
I’d love for some nice mechanics and synergies, atm I don’t see what I’m supposed to spend 50+ skill points on? 5 per skill and having 2-3 that makes sense is a total of 15. then there’s 6 more if you can find something in the skill branches so say 20ish. Some classes have a couple of those non-skill-nodes but most are 10% of 10%(lucky hit) so those won’t matter.
I’ve also looked up the legendary affixes for all classes and also their sacred items, but again nothing seems particularly interesting…
Is there something along the way that makes it worth playing? I’ve stopped buying games before watching reviews and gameplay videos long ago but I kinda thought diablo was a safe bet since I’ve liked all the previous titles, lesson relearnt I guess.
Perhaps someone knows of a buildplanner with items, paragons etc ? or is that too early?
off to work for a week, hopefully I’ll remember to check in.
