Too much loot. Rare is Common loot

I finish a NM dungeon and after i had picked up every “Top” item to check out them later. I end up my inventory half full+, Everytime.

So if you had a choice to make every enemy in the game to drop a rare item, Would you want that ? Would you wanna spend hours just checking your items all day long and salvaging them? ( or how about every enemy dropping 100 rare items?)

Or would you instead want your item drops to be more better and less “rare” ?
Give us less loot or give us a loot filter. Please.

I’m spending too much time after every Dungeon to go back town and savage all i got. Make items more rare. I wanna kill monsters, not to look at my full inventory all the time.

i think this is the best solution…

some kind of “auto junk” button that marks items as junk if they dont have X amount of your pick of afixes.

Loot filter fine… I dont want less loot , I plow tru my materiaals just fine thank you

Me too! That and gold!

(To threadstarter:)
If You know how to play this game, You’ll notice that materials of all sorts and gold runs low pretty fast! I really depend on this loot in order to have a chance to enhance the equipment I have.

Its not good to reroll stats with current prices, twice is like almost max, any further is just not worth the gold and effort.

Loot should be:

  • White loot till level 10
  • Blue loot till level 20-30
After that only Yellow loot should drop with sacred coming at WT3 and ancestral at WT4 (as it is right now)

Have you never played a Diablo game before? 99% of the gear you find is gonna be trash, this was always the case in Diablo games. In Diablo 2 you only had inventory space to pick up 3-4 items, because your inventory was full of charms. Just leave the white and blue items behind, you dont have to pick up everything.

That wouldn’t work very well as far as materials go.

How about we just get rid of this entire dogshit garbage aspect system and bring back legendaries and unique items that you can actually wear as items. You know like they did in diablo 2 or even diablo 3 to a lesser degree.

If you get rid of the aspect system it would free up over half of our stash space and we wouldn’t need a loot filter and we wouldn’t need to pick up every trash yellow item from the ground.

d2 itemization wont work in d4 because the stats on items are not univeral, in d2 nearly all characters need the same stats (res/frc/dr/mf), so the all the same uniques can be used by different characters, for example i’ve seen amazons use 3 peice tal’s.
but with d4 the stats on items are very specific to your character / build, ex. “% damge when frozen” you’d need way to many uniques to make sure each build has uniques with the appropiate stats.

Sure maybe not, but we can go back to D3 itemization. Obviously improve it a bit to make it better but I would still prefer D3 style of hunting legendaries then this aspect system.
