I was trying the level 200 Tormented Beast in Ice and I died twice, however on my second death, the Enchroaching Death debuff (taking exponentially increased damage) did not reset, and so it became nearly impossible to try again. On my first death it did reset, giving me the impression that it’s supposed to reset on death. I tried leaving the dungeon and going back in, but it did not work.
On both my attempts I got him to 20-30%. And I feel like I had a shot at taking him down with a couple more tries, so now I feel like this bug has robbed me of two stygian stones and 27 distilled fear.
