Transmog and Dyes

Loving the armor and style of armor in the beta! They really put a lot of time and effort and I can tell. I only have one gripe — and it’s not really a big deal at all.

I found it too easy to dye armor. There was no challenge to unlocking the dyes and it’s basically there for free. I remember in Guild Wars creatures would drop Dye Packs and you were able to dye certain parts of your armor and when you saw someone wearing all white or all black, you knew that person worked hard to get that transmog.

Again this isn’t something that strays me away from the game at all, but games seem to just throw these in instead of making it a challenge or rng or even buying it from the market place.

Overall — Beta went well and I’ll be playing next week. Future GOTY!

I reckon that’s a good opportunity to make alchemy and collecting flowers/herbs even more interesting than my original suggestion in the feedback post I made.

Create respective flowers/plants that you require for concocting specific dyes. It would make sense that plants in a more dusty/deserty place would make more deserty colours if you wanna make it really simple etc.

Here is my feedback post if anyone is interested in more of my suggestions - Feedback & Suggestions
