Uber bosses and their unimpressive loot

So i just killed Duriel and Andariel about 20 times in a row each and not only did i not get a mythic item, but everything that dropped was either not applicable to my class/build or was actually worse than my existing items that i got from random drops elsewhere. Out of ~200 items that dropped zero were useful.

This makes no sense. Endgame content is supposed to be rewarding to players who do it, but instead classes get specific stupid builds that one-shot Uber bosses (like the one i discovered and shamefuly employed in my experiment) which completely dimishes value of whatever loot they drop because players can solo a boss fight in 1-10 seconds and do it 50 times in a row and therefore useful items’ drop rates have to be tuned down to near-zero.

And at the same time i’ve seen dozens of players who already have 3 (three!) mythics 10 days into a season, which i suppose they got by tryharding Tormented Uber bosses 24/7 with a group of other such tryhards. Solo players have no such luxury, so at this point i struggle to see any point of continuing into Season 5 because i will not get anything by playing more.

I got mine after 44 torm bosses  after that was a bit faster… got 2 ubers from 5 kills… Lucky I guess.

Spoiled, try Diablo 2 Resurrected/LoD, legendary game with a difficulty rate 2-3x or even higher

Agreed. Tormented bosses are ridiculous. Remove them, and add some kind of actual endgame. Like, 5man dungeons with bosstiers that actually require teamwork and gives actual good rewards!

At the moment, people recommend to go to these bosses in a group. And the Developers need to create some kind of system to protect against failure. I’m generally silent about tempering.

I want to know where you all get the Stygian stones! I never find any…

On artificer pit, but the drop rate isn’t good. 1 to 10 if you are lucky.

infernal hords t7 and t8 drop lot of stones
