This started happening half an hour ago. I was playing an hour ago without an issue.
After opening the game, whether I’ve started playing or am still on the character selection screen a dialog box appears stating “Diablo IV was unable to retrieve necessary data. Please check your network connection”. Clicking OK closes the game - back to the launcher.
