It’s all part of making D4 feel like D2 back in the days. I mean, back then I had a hyper modern 56k modem (which never connected with more than 33.6k). A few years later, I even upgraded to ISDN with a whopping 64k which you could use on two lines simultaniously (of course also doubling the cost per minute as flat rates did not exist yet). The 160k/s at which I’m updating D4 right now, brings back that old time. The only difference being I’m now sitting on a 1 Gigabit Cable line which should download the game at roughly 500-600 times that rate.
Then again, it means I have more time to play something else as the Season 1 nerf patch doesn’t make me want to play the game at all. Yesterday, I couldn’t wait to start the season, now I’m not even sure if I will start the game should the update be finished any time before the season ends.

Hey Blizzard, thanks for the shitty downloads. Now you are like Epic Games where no matter fast your internet is (1GB/s) you still download like you’re on a 56k modem)
Im trying to download the lastest update for the new season and i got 2 gig internet speed and the game is still downloading for me at like 2 mbps stupid. it sucks theres not a way to fix this problem unless there is then someone please let me know its killing me lol
