Demons come and go in Diablo and in a lot other popular series but nothing has cemented personalities like Diablo, Lilith and Mephisto.
The counter side (Angels in Diablo) are often just the player characters in most games but in the past 4 games we have seen Tyrael, Malthael and Inarius to name but a few that have their own unique lore and relationship to the player character.
Even if the universe you have created ended today it is still more open epic and enticing than anything else out there.

The new class certainly is the most exciting part for me. It seems to be a weird class choice but a new class is always welcome.

I’m very much looking forward to seeing the new class, and the return of mercenaries to the franchise! I’ve had the privilege of enjoying this franchise since the beginning and it just keeps getting better
I am especially looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds in the expansion.
