Unable to change the appearance of Character made a week after release.
I’ve not played D4 for a long time, but on my return, there have been huge changes to the game. Going into the Wardrobe screen to change the appearance of my gear I’m unable to overwrite or save any new looks.
I currently have an error when I click onto either of the saved slots being 1&2, this error reads -
“Weapon appearance will not be applied due to type mismatch” - I’m not sure if this has any relevance to the issue. I have tried changing my appearance without weapons equipped and still had the same issue of not being able to save any new slots or overwrite the previous two saved slots.
Currently, for my old saved slots (1,2), items are showing in the wrong slots, for example -
“Fur-lined Boots” are showing where gloves should sit.
“Shard of Verathiel” shows where a ring would sit.
“Azurewrath” is also showing where a ring would sit
Since I’ve started playing again I’ve reached max level and used completely new gear without being able to change its look so its not a case of the gear itself being bugged. I’ve tried using the “default” look on all things and still unable to save or override the saved slots.
I’ve tried removing all items from character and inventory and then trying to override the saved slots
I’m not sure what else to try. I tried creating a support ticket but apparently this hasn’t been reported yet.
The Problem only exist on my release-old barbarian. They seem to have switched the place for gear… I have trousers as a hammer in my appearance preview.
That’s really ridiculous. Just delete the old apearances or something. As a player you seem not to be able to do anything.
