i mean, ok why would hackers want to ddos diablo and blizz servers? because they didn’t got their refund for a game they just cant understand? hackers are losers who like to ruin it for others! now i cant play and that is what they want
Folks paid by Sony
hehe ye maybe, who knows, could be a little kid in moms basement
DDOS in 2023 kekw lmao
Hackers don’t DDOS. Script kiddies DDOS when they get their panties all in a bunch.
My guess, they’re raging PoE kids who can’t stand another game in the same genre pulling players out of PoE’s player base.
probably their own players trying to log in to potato log in servers
Usually because they want money… or just for fun.
this guess i just as backward as the DDOS happening right now.
unless you could provide valid proof ofcourse but this is just beyond dumb to point the finger at a non tangible opponent.
it’s almost as dumb as the guy who made a thread here saying he was banned on the PoE forum for trolling that D4 is a superior product opposed to PoE.
it could be something entirely else, like stated by Vaccine, some people just do it for fun, or they want to damage Blizzard’s (or any other game company) income by denying their customers access to a game.
I don’t have to provide you with anything as i didn’t make any claims.
I clearly stated ‘my guess is’. It could be any group of script kiddies out there behind the DDOS attack.
They’re not hackers, they’re called script kiddies. These kids don’t know how to hack, but they know how to launch scripts that attack the servers to force a distirbuted denial of service aka DDOS.
Hackers hack for information, not to deny service and access to servers.
But, this is also the issues with developing always online games. Diablo 4 should never have been designed to be an always online game, and sadly it is far from the first time Blizzard have been hit by a DDOS and it definitely won’t be the last time either…
When you have more fun launching a DDoS attack than actually playing Diablo 4 - can’t say I blame the script kids at all XD
have you tried getting over yourself?
Blizzard forum toxicity 101. Got no more arguments, resort to toxicity.
Good luck getting through life with that attitude
Splashbang… you’re the one with the toxic attitude.
To be fair, it is VERY VERY cheap to DDOS a service like blizzard’s servers. You’d be surprised how cheap it is. Let’s put it like this, it’s way cheaper to keep ddos-ing the servers than buy a BiS item in wow with cash That should tell us something…
Do i need to refer you to the other thread where you’re insulting me?
Think, before you start talking. It usually helps avoid situations where people are able to call you out on your nonsense.
Unfortunately it’s far too easy, and it’s also something that is happening more and more often.
Most attacks are ‘lightweight’ but there are a lot of them that are real bad and hard to block. It depends on the distribution methods in which there are quite a few…
The most funny thing about this is , that the botnet customer support are actually way more helpful and communicative than Blizzard CS
Case in point:
Botnet has problems? Instantly get a CS rep to talk to you and solve your problem.
Blizzard has problems? Good luck getting ahold of anyone
It sure is funny watching this from the sidelines.
Of course, because unlike Blizzard, they don’t have a Bobby Kotick who lays off over half the support staff.
thats why i dont like to play online games anymore, servers lagg or down or they ddos or whatever cheat they use to be fastest level 100 in this game. Thats why some eople ask for an offline mode. makes me skip all online games, dont like to play them anymore. most off them are boring anyways lol
While i agree, it is what it is. They would have to have designed the game to feature an offline mode from the start. I would’ve preferred the same system they used for D2 imho.
