What did you do with the game?

160 paragon, all gear collected except mythics and I’m on s tier necromancer barely barely fighting on t3, when in previous seasons I already flew perfectly on t4. I play the same thing on t2 with a small chance to get something and get stronger. I can’t even imagine how to close the seasonal campaign.

yea, got harder; noticed that also. was wondering how it was up ahead and your story helps.
i think it sounds good that you need a bit of extra to enter t4. could definitely see myself at t2-3 all season trying to scale to t4. don’t think it should be for everyone. not everyone make it to the finals, only the few does. those guys are usually not me and you, i’m thinking. could be though. sometimes it is. but usually not us.
you don’t think t4 is the final difficulty? says it is.
you think you should be able to play the final difficulty within a few days of season start? i don’t.
but whatever… u was 100% on all items? s build. only missing the mythics. that’s pretty fast. guess it’s not good enough though. must be that blizzard made a mistake, that you should already be soaring and complete. they made t4 too hard. t3 also. but i still can’t help to feel good about that, feel that it’s a good change that you don’t just bumrush everything in the game by standing about. feels better. and no, i won’t make it myself; not this time.

Im fine with the difficulty increase for the most parts, but they went overboard with the bosses, oneshot mechanics and unskippable phases are not fun, i thought we went through this already with pit bosses all the way back in season 4.

I do not care about boss mechanics or long fights in this game, i just wanna kill stuff and get loot, so i can kill more stuff and get more loot. if i want interesting boss fights ill play WoW or Elden Ring or whatever, Diablo is not the game for that, it is the one game where being absurdly overpowered, to the point where you kill bosses with a single blow is the whole point.

Like OP, i too play a s tier build, i have 175 paragon levels, i have all the right stats and almost fully masterworked gear. I do pretty well in most T4 activities, except bosses. All im missing are legendary runes and a mythic unique, and where do these essential lategame items come from? From the bosses that i cant kill without them.
Sure i can farm bosses on T3, and i have, hundreds of them, but not a single rune or mythic because the drop rates on T3 are abysmal.

I cant even begin to imagine how people who dont play top meta builds struggle this season. You cant make a season focused on bosses and then make the bosses so hard that s tier builds struggle, we need to be able to kill bosses to complete the season.

I agree with you. If the new status quo is „t4 is for the hardcore players/grinders“ and not achievable for the majority of players, so be it.

But the one shot mechanics? Man, what a nuisance. So we’re not even supposed to counter that, even with good gear? And most of the time you can‘t even -see- the stupid mechanic that is killing you because everything is glowing and flashing … Terrible way to artificially make the game more challenging.

Well my lightening sorc could handle t4 with actual same gear right now I have… But for some reason I can;t deal in t3… So i’m in t2. Funny fact my boss power deal 15-25 M dmg, but my class spels deal 80-100k at last LOL

honestly, if i can’t pass oneshot i will not make it. it’s not that i’m a bad player, it’s that i do not have the patience to learn and delve into the game. and that’s because it is hollow to me.

the boss powers being overtuned comes as no surprise to me. it’s a beta and they want particular answers. to get them they have constructed these tools that they have us test under certain circumstances. this can’t be complicated because it ruins the test, or so i’d assume; hence our class skills are to take a back seat, with inconsequential effect, while they run the test.

the aggravating part is that we’re paying them to make their beta. sure, they set it all up nicely but it’s still underhanded. they should’ve communicated that it is indeed an extended beta and from that created a financial model, explaining why they’re doing it like this and what the goal would be… and cutting prices drastically for this purpose. as the game matures, they should raise the price gradually. or so i think… whatever though. cause i think they’re making it the sound way, it’s just that they’re not telling it up front that this is definitely work in progress because if they did they couldn’t overcharge us. in the end they’re not making games, are they; they’re making money. and everyone be like: welcome to capitalism. and i be like: welcome to failure.

What beta? They actually give up on project called D4… There is no real content evry sezon it’s like D3 was… Real true is they abadoned D4 right now

Perhaps thy build is weak. A necromancer strong this season.

Yes, indeed; thine build hast been weighed and measured, and found wanting. The punishment for mediocrity is of course virtual death by imagined public flagellation.

That’s yet another season where the Necro is in SS-tier, and the pool of viable classes/builds for top-tier content keeps getting smaller with each season. The question now is: why aren’t they doing anything about it?
