I was having so much fun in the last 2 week’s leveling my Sorcerer to 100.
Invested so much time to make the character and build viabil (Blizzard+Ice Shard) and want to continue grinding and test new build forward.
· I am a non season player because time, job, life don’t give me the lemon to start over and over again.
· The patch nerf was bad and unsuspecting for all the classes but Sorcerer have the worries road ahead.
· The season buff compensate a bit and make players forgot (or not).
· We all know the real reason behind nerf and want to know what happens to us, the players that don’t have time to start over?
What happens with us without seasons buff to compensate the nerf?
You carry on playing your existing characters.
You have access to the new Uniques, Legendaries & Aspects, but not the Malignant Hearts & Malignant tunnels.
Yes of course he can continue to play on eternal realm, but there is a problem…, Eternal realm do not have the season mechanics to compensate the killer patch that they implemented, season realm will have those fancy gems to make ppl to forget the nerf hammer, but eternal realm won’t have those and neither future mechanics, so they killed the eternal realm to force people to move to seasonal… A lot off people feel demoralized after the patch, to see their character wrecked and weak ( not talking about basement boys that even after nerf killing Lilith with easy ) talking about casual player that after work can spare around two hours to enjoy monster slaying. But they took it away from casual players, they killed the eternal to force as much ppl they can to move play seasons… And the reason ofc Battle pass. Some will move to play at max 1_2 seasons others will move on to another game… Anyway very pathetic move from ActiBlizzard
Just create a season char. You do not need to compete. Leveling is fast. The new content is worth it and you have fun leveling anyways. I don’t have a lot of time either, it’s about slashing through enemies right? That’s fun at lvl20 as it is on 100.
Have you tested that yourself or are you simply repeating that from streamers, forum flames or what you think it’s impact is from reading? So far, I had a lot of fun even with those nerfs.
I can read and I tested calculator. My own - NOT TAKED FROM INTERNET - builds worked at the expense of crits, damage to the controlled and vulnerable. As any normal build should. They cut each of these types of damage. In the description of the season, the effects of hearts are indicated. Which one of them compensates all of this? (None)
Blizz needs to realise that there are people like us who have jobs, social life, hobbies and like to log in every now and then. Do not like to repeat same content and do not like to be pressured to lvl up again. We control the game the game does not control our life.
It’s an arpg. It’s the same content wether you are lvl 60 or 100. everyone knew what’s going to happen with seasons. If you can’t handle that, why did you bother to buy the game? I don’t understand. I play once or twice a week for a few hours btw.
who said they would? Is the game unplayable? No. Perfect opportunity to try out new builds, isn’t it? You are not going to compete over endgame anyways if you are a casual player. Just try to have fun.
Because things worked one way in the past, it does not mean they cannot change.
There are CLEARLY two groups of people, two playstyles. It makes sense to address both sides.
I bought the game for base game and casual play style, not seasons. I do not care about seasons at all.
And where it is stated that Arpg has to have seasons? It is not aspect that inherently defines genre.
But you can still play the game perfectly fine. Maybe you need to do run nm dungeons 10 lvls lower than before, until you find the mega build again, but it’s not like it’s unplayable for casuals. And tbf, it’s not like there is a difference in nm 60 to 70. it’s only numbers.
I am not saying it is. I do not disagree with nerfs, things needed to be adjusted. I do not even play builds everyone is playing. In fact I like challenge and welcome it.
I was more talking about new content. Like for example aspects and uniques that drop for eternal people too. New things for eternals so we don’t feel left out
I don’t get why seasonal people fight this point, what harm would it do if they released all new content to both seasonal and eternal? It won’t affect your seasonal journey will it?
Diablo 4 needs to evolve into a game that serves all play styles, casual, semi-casult etc… not just the hardcore gamer.
No, it isn’t! Perhaps a broken lock is a great opportunity for you to try a new way of leaving the house through the window upside down? It isn’t for me, and I don’t need such offers. And useless new builds should not be offered either.
Aren’t the new uniques on eternal too? They need something seasonal exclusive to get people play seasons. It’s also a place where they can items, like those hearts, that can later be removed for something new. Imagine the reaction if they put those on eternal and remove it after 3 months. Seasonal is basically the place where they can rotate stuff since it starts fresh anyway
