What is going on with 'Seasonal' players bashing at Ethernal players like me?

Been playing a few a season already and got pretty tired of the same - old - loop to the annoying ‘start from scratch’ circle. I also understand that there are die-hard seasonal players out there and they hate ethernal players with a passion! I completely understand. But… what about us ethernal players that just want to take it easy. Chill and unwind from a hard day work. Have a small group going in D4 discord and try to have a bit of fun? Non. Because, they know full well that they will get harrased by seasonal players to pressuring others to do seasonal.

For me, I have a job. Sometime, I am tired, very tired. But, like to enjoy D4 for an hour or so and keep pushing my current character in ethernal. Also tried staying in D4 discord with the tag: ‘Ethernal’ or ‘Non Season’, kept getting people joining and harrasing me with loud music to asking ‘why are you not playing season?’ and… I am just tired of this… I just like to be with folks in non-season. I see many players in Ethernal. But a lot don’t want to touch discord D4 because of this bad treatment to harrassment!

I understand that many of you like seasonal. I understand. But please do give us ‘ethernal’ players something and a bit of breathing room for some fun. You don’t have to be all ticked off and kept pushing us out.

Everyone is a gamer. Gaming is all about fun and unite players from all over the world.

The fault here lies with the concept of separating the player base.

Obviously tribalism comes through if you just split the characters into 2 different realms.

I play only seasonal but the entire point of the seasonal realm is, they don’t know how to make the fun last.

Like Path of Exile, Diablo IV feels like a gutted MMO with so many features removed that it often feels like a single player game. And since there is no understanding of lasting emergent gameplay, they just need to reset the game constantly.

At long as we have 2 player bases, we will have pointless conflicts.
