What is the right way to buy Vessel of Hatred add-on?

Hello. Please tell me if anyone knows about the Vessel of hatred add-on. Initially Diablo 4 I purchased on XBOX Series account, connected to it Battle.net account. Over time, when D4 came out in the subscription XBOX GamePass began to play on PC (with the same accounts - XBOX and Battle.net) - all achievements, characters and progress transferred to the PC automatically. And here’s the question - where to buy the add-on? You can buy a key for the console XBOX Series, respectively on it will be an add-on. But will it also transfer to the PC, because I am more comfortable to play on it. Thanks in advance

The experiment was unsuccessful. Buying the add-on on XBOX Series (activated) did not transfer it to PC in XBOX GamePass Ultimate subscription

u can allways wait for season 7 wich will happen mid december … and get -50% on it due to xmas

season 6 will be a fail the game so far has been a fail and will continue to be … they are too proud to implement some systems that actualy work … and the game at this moment its burning … my advice dont invest any money atm on a game without a Path

Its like normal diablo in worst scenario it will be like 3 months for 50% off
They did not implement stuff that people wanted why bother to buy it ?

To put it simple, the game has cross platform progression, but the game license is not cross platform.
Wether you play it on Battlenet, Steam, Xbox or Playstation, you have to own a game license on that platform to play it.
It is up to you wether you wanna buy it now or wait for a sale on your prefered platform, or wait for it to be included with gamepass, but either way, owning a game license on one platform does not allow you to play on any other platform.
