What would you like to see put in the game?

Here are some things that could improve the game for me:

More variety of enemies and more variety of bosses and with some mechanics (Hide behind a stone to avoid an attack, Break a barrier etc)
Much more variety of objects (more qualities and more stats),
More types of game currency (some type of coin or gem that allows you to change the stats of an object)
More levels of gems and legendary gems
More spaces both in inventory and in the trunk (even if they are paid as Path of exile)
A chest in every town on the map
A pet that collects gold and items

  • Different difficulty areas on world map
  • NPC trader house with trading via npc
  • Nightmare cellars
  • More open area dungerons similar to the Champion’s Demise
  • Rare world quest drops that actually have chance when compliting give some good rewards
  • More Helltide type of events, like thunderstorm at Scoglen or undead horde at some area in the Peaks
  • Different level world events. Event Circle tells the difficulty, like red means mobs are 10 level over your own level or something, rewarding.

also forget that adding 500 new unique items with drop rates similar to Diablo 2. NPC auction house would help in that as would the class drop system, but with woeking NPC type of trading, would be also cool to get other class drops as it would help to start new character also it would be able to tarde it through NPC if not needed.

Different classes and skills that are not simply recycled from other Diablo games. It really would be nice to get some new in this so called new game.

++++ skilled devs who play their game by themselves, are gamers or actually not completely braindead and lazy
++++ QUALITY

To specify for those braindead devs:
Endgame → make better items where you have a choice between different stats, fixed lvl requirement for ancestrals / sacred items (helps replayability you dumb fks), enable trading, get a currency system in (no matter if runes, or demon ears, something that makes up for when you cant find your upgrade…), leaderboards, group challenges, more capstones between 70 and 90, better/interesting helltides, let them swarm something, real crafting (100 demon ears + item = rerolls item, 3 same items can reroll item, add real enchants which are tied to something like kill 500 demons, get +50 int / str / dex enchant (basic stats, not ur shet with 30% more dmg when moon is in line with some stars), rework damage formular ur buckets suck, and i am 100% sure it does not work as you intended (because you said no dmg numbers like in d3, yet we have same damage spikes), if you overhaul whole outgoing and ingoing damage, then more fun gameplay
Skilled Desvs who play → use your brain, like tp to dungeon and not in dungeon? phew, miss. I know there is technical challenge to solve this good, but doing things wrong with easy fix (like copying the code from a waypoint to this now. I even bet you hardcoded it lol) instaed of hard and good fix is not good. I hope you know what technical debt is, and that you have to redo this anyway, what will cause more problems than doing it right. You can consult me for 500$ and hour and i give you advice how to solve things, ez. Invent some good gameplay altering uniques. I mean boi, you dont give a damn about balance, so you could be creative as fk, i can assure you, that it CANT GET EVEN WORSE than now, in fact people would have a blast if they find a weapon with transforms them into songoku shooting a genkidama exploding the whole map every 5min, just use ur creativity for once. And also buff spells that are fun?!
Quality → align with skilled devs, pls learn programmin 101, learn technical debt, learn good UX design, example: paragonboard glyphs, they have the same icon ? Since when in jesus christs world do 3 different things, with different names, have same icons? GO BACK TO UNIVERITY ! Same as paragonboard resetting points, refund all button ? Or remove by hand, if you break one chain, NO VISUAL CLUE or highlighting WHICH node blocks? HELLO ? BACK TO UNIVERSITY ??? or use dev brain and ask “remove all nodes to this node?” like man, so talentless, makes me angry. More Quality: sigils are saved at the enchanter (WTF WHY IN INVENTORY), Gems stackable to 1000, gemtab, buy programmer for the horse, Aspects are saved at the enchanter, are stackable (design 101) and DIFFERENT SYMBOLS FOR GODS SAKE, WHY DA FK!!! DID YOU NEVER ATTEND UNIVERSITY !!!
And one tip for future: NEVER EVER let your own people playtest and bugtest your game. I get it, its cheap, but you see the result, a mountain of technical debt because bootlickers dont give good feedback. Same as unskilled devs, they are scared to test their “baby” the right way (was the same in university, but ye, fk you are professionals…).
And be vocal about what you have and what you want to do. I know you dont have a clue atm and therefore silence. But its better to say you have nothing and ask for feedback than to pretend to be in control and do one SHET move after SHJET move.
And maybe play and learn other games, how can this come out when you have games like D2, D3, PoE, Grim Dawn, Lost ark right next to you? You had all the time in the world, still missed it by a MILE

Craft equipment from the scratch.

More game activities. So far we have Helltides, World Bosses and Nightmare Dungeons… 3 activities, 2 you cannot do at any time, extreme repetition. (There are only really 5 different dungeons, same tasks, same bosses).

So far its Diablo 3 all over again but with less to do. We need more content, more fun core game features like many other ARPG’s have these days.

Heists, raids, hell incursions, territorial disputes (I guess Helltide is a good start of that one but it just feels bland). Just… stuff, more than just do Nightmare dungeons 1,000 times and then a few helltides so you can re-roll gear then another 1,000 Nightmare dungeons. The game needs way more variance.

bigger ability action bar for more abilities to use.

  • Option to completely hide the HUD/UI for awesome screenshots.
  • Pets, (to collect)
  • Crazy looking mounts, for example: Camels, Bears, Ox. (Why not?)
  • A way to convert materials into diffrent type of materials.
  • A “Spec” Loadout system like we had in D3’s wardrobe.
  • Personal “Hideout” / “Housing” where i can collect and add stuff to it. (Like furnitures, paintings, trophies, etc. something like PoE has)
  • Guild Stash Tab in the Personal stash system.
  • Personal stashtab for each character on the same account. (Why isnt this in game?)
  • Tradeable Loot for Party members.
    (Like we had in D3, where you could trade any loot to recent party member within a set time limit)
  • The “cow-level” complexity / mystery has me really intrigued…more of that.
  • Visual option: To have FPS & Latency visible at the same time.
  • Companion ? - for those days when you dont have anyone to play with. (Like D3 companion but not as entirely useless, option to pick name, class, skills, gear etc) - Could be human-type or better yet, creature/animal type.
  • MORE GOBLINS !

1: A total rebuild of itemization in the game more similar to D2 where a unique actually feels exiting and even a low lvl unique can have a function in your endgame build.
Combination to this is to remove the stupid equipment is mirrored to your lvl when you get the drop. Items should have fixed lvl requirments.

2: Zones in the world should have different lvl zones. Maybe they can make it that zones have different lvl monsters depending on current threat level in that zone.
As an example.

[Peace in the zone] lvl 1-20 monsters.

[Spawns of hell has been scene] lvl 21-40 monsters.

[Hell is gathering] lvl 41-60 monsters.

[Zone is overrun] lvl 61-80 monsters.

[Hell is here] lvl 81-100 monsters.

[Terrorzones/Helltide] lvl 101-120 monsters.

And these zones shift around.

3: More impactful events out in the world.
Atmoment worldbosses etc is really meh.
Strongholds are most fun tbh and the rest of the events should be built in a similar matter and make worlds bosses actually hard… really hard with chances of extremely unique drops.

4: Dungeons need to be rebuild from the ground up to be something more similar to WoW dungeons with several bosses in 1 dungeon and with unique layouts. No copy and paste.

5: Rebuilt skilltree that gives more build diversity where you can actually “play the way you want”.

6: Open trading.

I saw the patch on last 27th regarding giving more power to skills. Just a request, PLEASE, dont make D4 a easy-pussy game like D3, where we can finish just by using one or two skills. Just to make easier for new players and kids to point and click. Regards.

A game that doesn’t crash/lag out every 15 minutes so I can at least finish the campaign. Cant finish a mission without having to restart it at least twice due to a crash.
Maybe building a game with no offline mode was a terrible idea.

For me its simple.

The game should be more challenging and have a clearly defined victory dance at the end of it, some measure that says “you beat Diablo 4”.

Its just… too easy at least so far and frankly it seems to be getting easier as I progress to the next tier rather than harder. Characters are too powerful too quickly and to easily and while early on like at level 10-20 maybe there were moments where things kind of felt right but now, I feel like I pretty much dominate at Diablo 4 while watching a movie and half paying attention. The game requires very little actual skill to achieve things, their is no upscaling difficulty curve and the whole level based balancing makes the entire advancement aspect completely moot. You are as powerful at level 10 as you are at level 50.

I enjoyed the campaign and that took sometime to complete, it wasn’t hard but it was interesting but if the game loop from this point forward is “grind” to be more powerful which is contradicted by level based balancing without any story, then I don’t see a particularly long future with Diablo 4. The campaign too was quite short, cool, but very short at least compared to past Diablo’s. I remember grinding Diablo I and II for weeks to finish the campaign, Diablo 3’s story was less interesting but still quite long. When I finished Diablo 4 it felt kind of anticlimactic, though I thought the Hell sequence was really cool.

Auction House, more viable builds in general, gem bag (well it’s coming,but why did we had to be loud about it?), increased/unlimited obol capacity by default, static enchant costs, or make the extra cost go away over time,paladin, monk, more stash tabs and last but not least, make mounts available early and don’t hide it in the main campaing but rather as an introduction/essnetial/tutorial quest that automatically pops up the moment it becomes available.
