This is insane, such a great update, but this gold prices are insane. I understand the prices for masterworking, it’s a end game mechanic and promotes trading, leave them as there are now, but everything else… 6 mil for converting pit materials, enchanting, respec, tampering needs to be reduced/removed(at least for converting pit material). Speaking for tampering, why I can’t preserve the previous tamper as I can in enchanting, as bricking an item in this ecosystem is so costly not only in gold, but it’s not fun.
One thing people dont get that in s3 it was, basically, mandatory to interact with blacksmith to be viable in t4. While now you dont need sockets, tempers, masterworks till at least nm60 (for like 99% of the builds). No need to waste milions of gold to perfect gear that will be vendored in a day. (i did that mistake myself ,wasted about 30m gold and 5 prisms on trash gear)
Problem starts much later in the game, when you actuall need to temper and stuff. And realistically your gold gain sits at level 55 rate forver.
Will agree tho, that converting mats should not cost gold at all. You already proven that you are capable of doing those high pits. Why pay more gold for that?
Second take is ‘preserving’ tamper seems an ok idea. People will brick items anyway as intended, but saving item this way will not break the game, will just get rid of minor annoyance.
Gold gain could be better for those reached pit 30+ or something. Like 25% will do the trick, while increasing for those reached higher pits, because moving into late game requires exponentially more gold, while, lets say, pit 10ish can be cheesed with random gear, half of the proper aspects and no sockets.
