But when I go into my display adapters, my display driver is 27.20.1034.6. Is it misreading this driver information somehow? Or is there some other issue here?
This might be goofy, but double check to make sure you’re running your game and system off of your video card and not your motherboard.
Also it’s basically impossible to figure out your problem if you don’t post your graphics card specs.
I don’t think I have anything plugged into my motherboard, unless there is some other possibly reason it could be running off of it.
My graphics card is an Sapphire Radeon Nitro R9 390.
Try argument “-bypassgpudrivercheck”
This happened to me as well. I chose to use the drivers offered by Windows Update and NOT Nvidia/AMD (as they can be more unstable) but I had to get up-to-date drivers from (in my case) Nvidia, yours versioning looks like AMD, so…
I would go check AMDs site for updated drives
To clarify, after updating the graphic drivers from the GPU designers (?) site, I was able to play.
Bypassing GPU check solved it for me. I had the exact same problem, but my graphics card is an AMD Radeon R9 M290X - it’s in an iMac.
What are you doing to bypass that GPU check? I’m on a 2014 iMac with the AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2 GB card as well, have created the partition, loaded Windows from a USB drive, have Battle.net loaded, the beta loaded and am getting the ‘drivers are out of date’ error as well when i try to play. I am super not tech savvy.
