When PS plus or Xbox Gold is required?

I figure we can play solo without Plus or Gold.

But we need Plus or Gold:

  • Playing on cooperative online, PvE.
  • Playing PvP.
  • Create a chat or party.

am I right?
People are really confuse about it.

No it is required to play the game in its entirety

There is no separate offline/solo mode

Besides, Xbox Store says multiplayer online mode requires Xbox Gold.
PS Store says that online mode requires PS Plus.

That’s just completely muddied the waters for me as every source, article and interview I’ve read thus far has indicated PS+ or XBox subscription was required to play period.

Going to need to dig into this further it seems

I wrote this post because like you said this is very confuse.
Blizzard should clarify it or at least some staff member of this website.

All buy to play games that are online only like d4 need gold and plus to play
