I can only assume that it’s an unfortunate human error that the link to buy the MacOS version is missing. Because surely Blizzard you wouldn’t be keeping Diablo 4 from loyal Mac gamers like myself who have played every single Blizzard game, including Diablo 1-3, since 1998.
So, when is the Mac version coming out?

Isn’t the Battle.net launcher also available for Mac ?
I’m guessing that the release is same day for mac as for everything else through the Battle.net launcher.

Just checked the Info on the store, says platforms : Windows so perhaps not. : /
Probably as soon as Windows pc’s can’t handle the game.
I am sorry to tell you this, but there are currently no plans for a Mac version of Diablo 4. Blizzard has not been releasing new games on Mac for many years now. My limited understanding is that it has to do with the Mac proprietary software/hardware interfaces and the difficulty working with them. Apparently Apple is not gaming friendly.

If you have a Mac with an Intel processor you should be able to play D4 by using Boot Camp to install Windows on a partition.

Get serious hardware. Macs are just toys for kids.

This is such an old “burn” and so incorrect. M1 and M2 Macs and M1 iPad Pros are amazing. It is now super easy to develop for Mac/iphone/iPad/Apple TV all at the same time. It is the same development path. The problem is that Blizzard is not our old Blizzard. They are a Chinese company and don’t like Apple and money I guess? They could be making money from selling Diablo 4 on Macs and iPad pros but oh well…Since Overwatch 1 they have stopped development for Mac and I have stopped opening my wallet for Blizzard. It is such a shame. Also, Diablo 2 was that last good Diablo IMO. Diablo 3 is just a 1 month throw away game. Nothing interesting…too easy…not scary at all…good graphics though but that was all I remember from it. If they can make Diablo immortal for iphone they know how to develop for Mac. It is now the same…

Nobody cares about Macs. And no, they’re not amazing at all. Expensive, underpowered, non-standard. Bad graphic power. Mostly buzzwords. Not embracing standards, not in hardware nor in software. Nobody need them.
Blizzard has stopped developing for Macs because it is not a lucrative business. Mac users barely can use a computer, go figure if they buy games…

Very disappointing, I don’t have windows for years, like many professionals on IT industry.
For me is great the support of d3 and wow for Mac, I just finish my workday and open Battle.net
People suggesting “just play on windows “ don’t understand that at least for my job devops work, windows is horrible and we like to use the same hardware for work and fun. Just that.
And no it’s not hard to port d4 to Mac is just a lazy/political decision by Microsoft Blizzard.

Mac versions shouldn’t exist… the Apple Mac should be banned for being a junk useless platform… it is the evil basis for all apple phones which now have the entire planet mesmerised… and slowly going blind.
I’m glad there’s no mac version, you don’t deserve one. And you’re probably a Lillith fan anyway. But if you want someone to blame for it… blame Apple they dug their own grave by being so gaming antisocial… they want everything to be Apple… (you have to pay them to make games for them) and they’ve never made anything worthwhile to date, just insanely expensive junk. Just like Atari really… and look how sony turned out… writing their own reviews… they’re like bethesda… social pariahs…or bioware or ea… all companies that make and sell junk to the masses.
Apple is against uniform and common design, they want to be alone… well now they are. Time for you apple supporters who caused this to lump it.

If you want to play Diablo 4 on your toaster oven, you will need to install Bootcamp. There is no other way around this unfortunately.
Or you know… buy a PC/Console like every other normal gamer in the world :o

noone cares about mac, it is sub par to windows plus only the rich buy them. This game is for everyone not only for rich people, so best decision by bliz to not develop it.
Mac design for work and only work,so nope
And for DevOps work you use stupid macs which doesnt even have native container support? All they can have is a VM with a Linux system inside just to run containers? LOL. “IT professionals”… Ahahah

I never post in gaming forums, but…
You clearly don’t know what you’re speaking about if you say that a Mac needs a VM to run containers, and you should stop trying to make fun of people without having a clue about IT. Honestly, it’s embarrassing.
Windows has its uses (gaming is one of them), Mac OS has its uses and Linux has its uses. That’s about it. And now, back to the game.
Thanks for your (uninformed) opinion.

You can just use Bootcamp on any Intel based Macbook. I didn’t want to invest in a Xbox just to play Diablo IV so just grabbed my late 2016 MacBook pro and installed Windows 10 on it.
It’s perfectly capable of running the game even using the High preset graphics settings.
