Why am i skipping Abattoir of Zir and season 3

What i did in season 2 , i achieved 100 hardcore rogue , killed Lilith , cleared multiple nm100 dungs and got 4 uber items , went back to softcore ethernal to try to get any pvp and i was not able to , got like 6-7 days of gameplay out of it , finished the season journey , so overall a good step in the right direction but at the end of it i dont feel like i want to do this ever again.

1st of all the end game , we all know that its just isnt there , the content that is coming up is just not going to fix it. These abbatoir of zir rifts are just reusing the horrible designed dungeons that we all know and hate with the narrow tunnels , i mean seriously when i watched the dev stream showing off that content , i was like , nope , thats not for me. I just cannot stand anything that even looks close to these 120 AI generated dungeons.

The itemisation , your highest priority … ok , you are working hard to fix something that wont bring people back at all , its like o look we fixed resistances come back and play our nightmare dungeons , no thank you. Resistances should have worked from day 1 , same as the itemisation , your just putting so much work and hype behind something that was not supposed to be a problem in the 1st place. How many people you think are exited to come back to the game and run this boring content yet again with better itemisation? We notice how bad the itemisation is , because the content so far has been so poor and minimal. Helltides have gotten boring and old , world bosses are a joke , legions are a waste of time nightmare dungeons are all of the above , witch of these activities you think better itemisation will make better? O ye … none.

Season 3 , maybe i will check it out for few days , but honestly , that gauntlet is just another weekly dungeon that we had in diablo 3 that no one cares about and you will probably reuse all these horrible dungeons yet again.

You have not said a word on PvP , it will just be ignored , and that is half or even more then half of what keeps Diablo immortal player base , or the-best players in Diablo 2 where the ones who played PvP and all of this community gets ignored yet again , same was as in diablo 3. How hard it is to give a mode like battlegrounds in diablo immortal in diablo 4? O ye its too complicated , d4 devs are just too busy with fixing their own problems like resistances and itemisation. PvP is essential for keeping players engaged , but i guess you just gonna continue to please the casuals and gived them some pointless new items and some generic caves to slay some monsters with their new and shiny cosmetics.
When I open the b-net client , the last game i want to click on is diablo 4 , this is the state of the game at the moment and it wont change anytime soon i feel like.

The game has so many fundamental problems, that at this rate of updates it’ll be fixed by season 20+ (think I’ve seen this in a Diablo game before… hmm).

Just to name a few of these problems:

  • Terrible itemization, 99,9% of loot gets thrown in trash. STILL no customizable loot filter
  • No way to meaningfully craft/modify items (please take notes from Last Epoch and PoE)
  • Uninteresting item affixes (+1% damage to chilled enemies after work on tuesdays)
  • Boring and grindy dungeons with crappy rewards and nerfed unique drop rates
  • Not enough overworld activities. I’d rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty nail than do another Helltide or Blood Harvest
  • World bosses are a joke, tho somewhat fun until a clearly bugged lightning orb sorc rolls in and kills it in 2 seconds

The only reason why I even made it to lvl100 and Duriel farm this season is because I was playing my own weapon-swap barb build. The build is in no way, shape or form optimal, but it’s engaging and fun to play. Literally every other aspect of the game felt like a chore.

In the current state, I’m sure as hell ain’t coming back to season 2 or 3 and I believe MANY players share this sentiment.
