Why is diablo 4 seasons are such low effort compare to PoE?

I don’t understand. Blizzard is such a huge company, why do they do everything so dull.

It feels like Diablo is being worked on by a very small team that is entirely focused on microtransactions. This is just sad…

The question is why do devs think miscrotransaction is more important than to make game better? It is happening since release day. What about to shut down shop forever and make game great again? Good idea?

Great question. A new season has a little tweak in terms of what you do, some different colour schemes and a tiny reward board of pretty average stuff that is like 4-5% of the whole season. Everything else is the same. It’s madness to keep playing seasons. Better to just drop the game and play or do something else.

For a triple-A game that costs so much and milks the players at every opportunity, it gives very little back.

Still ppl play and pay. No problems here.
After I saw I cannot get expansion for platinum I insta closed game launcher without running the game after 3months break. Things are oblivious blizz wants only dollars nothing more. Maybe not a bad thing but while orienteted only for cash they want to look like a holy paladin in game industry working thier b_tts only for sake of players. Biggest hypocricy for me in this matter.

Finally, ppl started to notice…
Vote with your wallet, look for alternatives that provide a fun experience. It’s still working because the playerbase is drunk on nostalgia and cope.

I really try but never understand it,
How do you want to manage all the characters with such a small STASH, it’s so terribly annoying
Every time I play and make a character or want to make new gear bulid
I curse Blizzard that there is no bigger STASH and there is none
Loadout includes Skills and Paragons
What is more important than that is wings or a horse
What a shame

Because they are either bad at developing/gaming or smart enough to realize its enough to put the minimum work in their games, the players will buy it eventually

Because D4 is game for simple audience
That’s why they do not need to do anything big cause simple people like simple things
Did you not notice how there is not much of a crafting stuff in game and if there is is very simple click the thing adn get RANDOM 1-6 modifiers to your item for example
Same we can apply to Building your character
Items are lame no matter how many affixes you put on them because your power comes from
50 percent dmg increase to your bash etc etc
That’s how d3 was operating for years and same audience that played that game is playing D4
The only thing i like d4 is that smooth COMBAT
with that POE can’t even compete but everything else is just bad and it’s not even close to what ARPG should be
btw
POE is not a casual friendly game
You need a lot of failing and reading and understading of game mechanics before you are able to actually put together something decent

if POE is so mutch better in your opinion what’s stopping you.

he already wrote that POE cannot compete with the smooth combat. I did play POE back in the day and I know it’s above anything else. For me, personally it’s too much time consuming POE and I prefer D4 because I also am now a casual player with only 1 hour available per day.

Poe better? lol enjoy your new sim style league and finding currency just so you can buy your gear while we have fun finding our own gear you know the way an action rpg should be played not sending a bunch of npc’s on missions and waiting a few hours for them to arrive with loot

The new season will like to casuals.

You are correct about how simple things are, but I think it’s more to do with Blizzard’s strategy of ‘minimal effort, maximum income’ on their part.

Path of Exile is owned by Tencent for some years now. The government of China owns special shares in this company which allows them to appoint directors to the board. How many, we don’t know, but it’s believed to own around 1% of the company, the value of which is well into the billions. For all we know, Path of Exile might be receiving huge infusions of cash the likes of which no game in the West could ever dream of.

A better comparison might be Diablo Immortal. Dozens of quality raid bosses, an absolutely wonderful clan system driven by an innovative chat setup, new mission types and and PvP varieties several times per year, new zones for free once or twice a year, and an incredibly easy system for finding and playing with people who are working towards the same goals.

Pay to win issues aside (and they really only affect endgame PvP), everyone who cares about this game should take just a little time to acquaint themselves with Immortal and see just how many things it got right.
