Why not make a season every two months. Maybe more income for blizzard and more fun for the players 
got the feeling that you play D4 for max 1 month and then your waiting for new stuff.

Not every player has the same amount of time to play. So no, don’t shorten it.
On the contrary, these developers need to make 4 months, or even 5. As Russians say: " if ye hurry, ye will make people laugh."
if you play 24/7 yes but we all don’t do that.
i think seasons are less their length for the player and more their length for the developer assembling the data gathered to project the new season with the new aim.
it’s a development process made gamey, as it has to be as developing without players is disadvantageous, being blind.
