Blizzard = how to make a product that makes money quick? put diablo in the name and sell that.
GGG = How can we make a good game? players will stay and pay if they like it

Don’t confuse opinion with facts. If the game is Free to Play and the company earned enough money to make such a big sequel, it means they know how to do a good game.
The difference is that Tencent bought GGG, but after that vision, people, approach to fans and monetization model never changed. All mtx from PoE transfers to PoE2.
But if you look at Blizzard there are no people who created D4 or even D3. They can’t implement properly good systems known from D2 or D3. They designed mtx shop using tricks to make you spend more. They gave you some platinum, but prices are so high that you must buy more to buy anything. For me D4 is only a big marketing product. Megan Fox, KFC, modern songs in ads and even a trailer xD. Did you see Lam Esen tome, Khalim’s will and all that stuff from D2? It’s there only to milk your nostalgia. Did you see trailer for VoH? Is this a song that should be used for Diablo trailer? Is this a sequel of Diablo 2? It’s just discusting.

As someone who played both D4 and PoE2, i am so sick of this rivalry. The games are barely comparable, they have vastly different strengths and weaknesses, and are for completely different audiences.
Its been 12 years since Diablo 3 released and the Diablo franchise took a different direction than that of Diablo 2, Yet people still to this day cling to Diablo 2, as if it is the only right way to do a arpg, and praise PoE and PoE2 for following in its footsteps.
Let me tell you a secret: Different things can co-exist, it doesn’t have to be one or the other. There is nothing wrong with having different games for different audiences, within the same genre.
Y’all need to stop looking at this like a battle that only one can win, and start looking at it as options to choose the game that suits your personal preference.
Wether you like Diablo or PoE or both, its all good, there is no wrong choise, play what you like, the point of games is to have fun, not to wage war against games you dont like. Live and let live.

No need to be announcing anything, just leave and do your thing. You are not special, and you will be replaced by other new players to D4, or by other D4 fans who support the game with mxs.

There is literally one topic about PoE 2 in your screen when you enter forum. Just skip.

You don’t understand anything. It’s not about which game is better, it’s about how Blizzard is screwing us and not giving a damn.
Fanboys forget quickly. But it’s the game’s creators and online reviewers, enslaved by signed NDAs, who claimed that this game borrows heavily from Diablo 2. We’re complaining here because these dogs have stolen our money. There is nothing to defend. Now compare it to GGG approach.
And i still play D3. I know it’s different game and it’s not complex as PoE. But there a lot of polish in it. A lot of monsters, bosses, sound, music, etc. But Diablo 4 missed sountrack for many locations on release. There are still a few types of monsters. There are not many bosses and they are poorly designed. Game is stil crashing after 1,5 year. Spiritborn has all builds bugged and trillion times stronger than other classes. And then i play PoE 2 and i see tens of bosses, most of them interesting and challenging. Every location has it’s own, masterpiece soundtrack. Every location has unique types of monsters. In EARLY ACCESS.
So no, it’s not about how different games are. It’s about the effort, passion and approach difference from both companies.

I understand perfectly fine, im just sick of hearing about it. Its been over a year, get over it and be happy you got PoE2 now.
You say they stole your money, but the reality is you got a game for your money, just not the game you wanted, too bad, thats the risk you take when you buy something. Grow up and deal with it.
D4 isn’t perfect, but there are people who genuinly enjoy it for what it is, and they dont need a bunch of PoE fanboys and D2 purists to come to these forums and spread their hate and negativity. Go play the games you enjoy and leave D4 for those who enjoy it.

Not sure how you arrived at that answer, I just said it was fun. If you don’t read what people say what’s the point in being here?
I agree, play both if you find them fun. Personally, I found POE 2 to be more fun than D4 and more in tune with D2 which I found was a great game.
I don’t have a problem with changing direction I just don’t think Diablo 4 was anywhere near as good as it should have been but that’s just my personal opinion. D2 set the bar. If you played it at the time it was released you’d know how good it was. Just as vanilla WOW was phenomenal at the time. More money = greater expectation. Somewhere along the way Blizzard forgot how to make great games and instead focused more on how to make money.
To me POE 2 feels dated and it’s nowhere near as good as Diablo 2 was, it’s like a cheap clone, but even so it’s still better than Diablo 4, simply because (for me) it’s more fun and cost nothing! I played with my son and we had a blast.
I’m not a fan-boy of either company. If it’s fun, play.

I’ll tell you something. There are a lot complainers and negative topics about PoE 2 on Reddit and PoE forum. But guess what - i don’t care as long as i enjoy it. I read it just to get different perspective. Or sometimes i just scroll down and just go play the game.

Where should I give any feedback on Diablo 4 if not on the Diablo 4 forum? Where should I write such things? And another question - do you think that comparing Diablo 4 and PoE 2 is some kind of abuse? After all, these are games that came out at a similar time, have the same roots, are representatives of the same genre. In my opinion, pointing out the developers’ mistakes can help them develop the game and get back on track. If there is no such complaint, regardless of whether it is justified or not, there is no room for improvement. Do you people think that I do not care that the game I spent $120 on finally becomes good? And most importantly - stop taking all criticism of the product personally. If you buy a meal in a restaurant and you like it, but someone else does not, do you feel offended? This is absurd. I see the same situation in the comments under all reviews. Your example is missing something. I bought 1kg of fresh peaches and 1kg of fresh pears. So i got 1 kg of fresh peaches and 0,7 kg of rotten pears. And i could eat 1 peach and pay after i tasted it. At the same time rotten pears were hidden in the bottom of the basket.
You’re giving feedback on a game that has nothing to do with these forums (PofE) but not feedback of D4. Just repudiation.
Since you ask, go and troll on reddit instead as you’re not actually contributing anything of value. Just sophistry
