I do not have the expansion and will never get it because of the multiplayer which i do not like. But why have my characters been set to level 50 al that grinding gone… I have never been so dissapointed and will leave d4 you are not getting any money from me ever again.

Level 50 are the same as 100 before, you did not loss anything, you can now gain 10 new levels.
Your characters were always level 50. The other 50 levels were paragon levels. They shifted the format, so that paragons no longer stack on top of levels, but are a seperate accountwide progression system instead.
So they just copied D3 systems?
Pretty much, except in D4 theres a paragon cap of 328. (300 levels + 28 from renown, altars, ect.)
I only know that my Barbarian on eternal went from 70k-100k dmg to 3k dmg, so ok to increase the level but for what reason destroy all the gear accumulated in hours of play, especially the uniques had to remain, surely a solution could have been found.
Farming again might be fun too but let’s start from where i left off, more or less… that’s too much.
In addition to shifting arround the levels, they did a stat squish, to prevent D3 style powercreep with damage numbers in the trillions. You will be back to doing big numbers in the new endgame at 60. A welcome change in my oppinion, things were really starting to spin out of control in season 4 and 5.

Also accountwide is a joke. Like if I level up on 1 character how the hell does it affect on some other random guy taking up to the adventure.
It doesn’t prevent power creep… they will start adding power creep in the next season for sure. They cannot stop themselves… you see it in WoW etc. They had what like 2-3 stat squishes and 1 level squish already.
So soon enough they will have to make another stat squish making things even more confusing.
It’s completely unnecessary. They could easily make some tuning to the power of characters overall without massive item power changes.
I think it was wrong to drop all the old loot into 540.
It was Ancestral Loot… anyways.
So lets say we were level 50 finding 925 gear. Now you can get 10 more levels + those torment levels. So highest now is 800 ilvl??
Maybe the old 925 loot should have been like 700 in the new system. But I’m sure the devs were just fkin lazy and just slashed everything to 540… who cares… only seasonal players can pay for the battle pass etc.

I agree with you. Hours of searching for THE one gear item, then all gone. I see this as robbery. Not entertaining. But like you said… who cares.

I just don’t understand it.
I also went from 100k attack power and 50k health to like…1.5 k
I did a dungeon and still wrecked shop but like…why? My visage and crest are 50? And now I have to find all new gear? Hours and hours gone…

They made this cool thing called Diablo 2.0 patch where everything got nerfed to oblivion. Leveling used to go fast and it was fun to go through the progress and begin the endgame grind. Now instead you suffer through the leveling all the way to the endgame up until youre already grown tired to the grind and stop playing.

only if you purchase the expansion. As for all the paragons we have lost you cant access those…unless you buy the expansion. So the gameplay we worked hard for is now locked behind a paywall. Yuk.

My lvl 100 barb feels reseted now ? Before i had 35k hp now i have 398 hp only ?? and damage is same less then 1000… how do i fix this ?
And all my old gear feels garbage now, masterworked items what am i supposed to do now ?
This is like people in a certain country that cannot comprehend that a 1/3 pound burger is bigger than a quarter pounder.
Stop and think about it. You are being given more room to grow and you complain ffs.

No level 50 is not the same as level 100. The paragons lost and the time wasted all because of the forcing of us to buy the expac. even in D3 if you didnt buy the expac or the necro pack you could still play alongside them and no changes were made.
