Only thing to say about this is …gid good mate

Different strokes for different folks.

For me Diablo is about getting more and more powerful. The idea of scaling has completely undermined that entire process. It’s makes stats meaningless, equipment pointless and the desire to play a challenge.

But I need to ‘get good’?

What are you 14?

Its not bad thing, its one of the good things in this game actually. You are just bad,bad player…

Hoping that T4 world would scale way over 100. Monsters should be 110 level on the world. And increased chance to drop 800+ items.

Also plese add tons of uniques more. Looting is booooooooooooooring…

Yup, scaling takes away every feeling of “entering a new and dangerous area”. U cannot play harder areas, items lvl with u… Scaling is just boring and lackluster, it is in wow to - but there most people dont really care about difficulty and stuff while lvling. Thats cuz the game actually focuses on end game

This game focuses on… nothing? Its like a black empty void of nothing. Scaling should never be in a game like this, only in games where the lvling part of the game is a thing u get over fast and go on to the end game.

Literally the entire reason diablo plays well is due to scaling, you always need better gear until you hit cap.

How else is there an incentive to get gear? :eyes:

This ensures all content is fun to play, no silly areas where your passive aura kills everything.

It’s literally the whole point of the design… :exploding_head:

The reason that it plays well is cuz they havent laid the groundwork for a good game that doesnt need scaling. “How else is there an incentive to get gear? :eyes:” this sentence is one of the most dumbest sentences i have ever seen.

U must not have played any other ARPG, like… ever, ever.

Sweet sweet child.

So innocent… :sheep:

There was no scaling in Diablo 1, 2 and 3* there shouldn’t be in 4, it’s a cheap way of slowing things down, the only reason it was implemented don’t kid yourself that it was anything else.

*Outside of rifts

I am lvl 92 rogue and xan do NM 57 easely even withoit dying, monsters beeing ~20 levels above me.
so, scalling is not even a small problem, you get much much better than mobs at your level.

The scaling isn’t an issue because glyphs and paragon points are so strong. You actually outscale the monsters by a massive margin unless you ignore glyphs and don’t use your paragon wisely.

By example, at level 90 I was speed clearing NM50 which has lvl104 monsters. Scaling is not an issue, unless you ignore glyphs.

So you didn’t play them, or are you joking?

When I say scaling I mean scaling in the sense that everything scales to your level at end game. In Diablo 1,2 and 3 (as far as I can remember with 3, it’s the one I played least) scaling was fixed/tied to the difficulty level.

You remember incorrectly, unfortunately.

You can be level 30, grinding away, using level 24 gear, hit level 31, and suddenly desecrator melts you, one shots become 4 shots, etc…

The difference between 40 and 50 really hurt and the difference between 65 and 70 was huge. It has always been this way.

Did you not play much seasons?

I was going to edit my post to include

…at end level*.

To answer your question no bud never played Seasons.

There you go.

I have about 12k hours in seasons.

It has always been a thing.

No, paragon never scaled. Levels always have, and in D4 paragon is “inside” your level.

That’s the only difference.
:+1:

When you say it’s always been a thing you mean within seasons?

Also, what exactly is seasons and why are you so excited about it? If it is what I think it is, which is just do it all again for transmog stuff?

Scaling.

As you install and play diablo 3 for the 1st time. As you level up everything you fight does also, yes, in the campaign. Same reason the legendary you got at lvl 34 is worthless for damage at lvl 45.

Seasons just mean you did it 28 times minimum. :+1:
