Like if a friend and I both want to make a Canada (CAN) clan will we be able to do it? Will 2 clans on the same region be restricted in names or tags?
In world of warcraft if someone tried to take a guild name was that used you couldnt, maybe something similiar?
Yeah I guess I’ll just have to try and snipe what I want. I figured they probably wouldn’t be able to copy names.

One would assume that Clan names and tags would likely require uniqueness, as otherwise it becomes too easy to accidentally join the wrong clan, or to pose as a more well known clan and thus dupe other players (which is a no-no).
Not only that, in PvP, if you saw someone else from “your clan”, you might not realise they are a threat and assume they are on your side, etc.
