Will D4 run on Lenovoe Yoga A940

Hello, i can´t reach the technical support. So I start here.
I want to know if my PC can run Diablo 4.
I have a Lenovo All in One (Yoga A940).
Hardware:
RAM 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4 2.666 MHz SODIMM
GPU: AMD Radeon™ RX 560, 4 GB GDDR5
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-8700 @3.20 GHz
HDD: 512 GB SSD, M.2 2280, PCIe 3.0 x4, NVMe, OPAL-fähig + 2 TB Festplatte, 2,5", SATA 6,0 Gbit/s, 5.400 U/min

Can anybody say, if Diablo IV run on my machine?

I tested it on my intel nuc 8i7hnk and specs are roughly the same. However my monitor is a samsung G5 ultrawide (3440*1440).

I was able to play the game and to my surprise, my experience was quite smooth. Didn’t see the fps but it was near 50-60, expect here and there (like after tp in town).

For settings, everything were on low, and texture slider from 100% to 50%. So it was also quite ugly, but not so much.

By lowering your native resolution, which is 4k qhd, you could potentially achieve better results, but not that much.

Another way is to add powerhorse to your computer with an egpu. You have a thunderbolt so you can add for example a rtx 3070 using a razor core or similar egpu connector. But be aware that you’ll have bottleneck (maybe a lot, depending on game). And it is also very expensive.

Another solution is to add an egpu but using your nvme ssd connector. Problem is that your computer is an all-in-one so accessing the nvme port isn’t as easy as mine, and will break warranty (if you still have one). Pros is that its way better than thunderbolt, with only 5%-15% loss from the gpu, and way cheaper ~ 50€ for the R43SG card + cheap power supply. (~= 55$).

And another solution should be to use cloud gaming in the futur, but we can’t be sure. It will depend on the aggrement between Microsoft and Activision/Blizzard. From last time i checked, only Geforce Now provide a good resolution and framerate without too much latency (up to 120 fps and 1440p with premium). It can be a temporary solution to avoid wasting too much money.

But there’s a server slam available for everyone the 12-14 may. You will be able to check

Hello @Furockeur
I haven’t bought the game yet because I was unsure about the System requirements. Thank you for the hint with the egpu. I had no idea about this option.
Have fun with the server slam. I think I’ll wait for the first few days or weeks after release and I will buy the game later on a sale if necessary. Thanks for the answer.

I think it should work fine, it looks from the requirements it could run on a stupid smart fridge
