Witch powers are overtuned

Title says it all really.

It can’t just be me right? Witch powers are stupidly OP. You don’t even need class abilities anymore. Just pick the frog, firebats and poison aura and everything on the screen dies while you walk around collecting loot.

I feel like this can’t be intended. Witch powers should enhance your class abilities and playstyle - not make them redundant. Not to mention that everyone seems to pick the same ones. Clearly some balancing issues that hopefully will be addressed at some point.

Out of curiosity, what difficulty do you play on? I play on torment 4 and I sometimes question if my witch powers do anything at all, all my damage comes from earthquakes. I mean, its nice when pirhanado gathers all the enemies up, but other than that it barely seems to tickle them.
Besides, Diablo 4 is a power fantasy, it’s supposed to be stupidly op, that’s what seperates arpgs from other rpgs.

Yeah, the truth is most people dont care much for the leveling process, they just wanna get to the endgame and start working on their build. There is a reason leveling time has been gradually cut down from 30-40 hours to 3-5 hours.
You are most likely right witch powers are balanced arround the endgame. If you wanna enjoy a more slow pace leveling process, you can always unequip the witch powers, its not ideal, but its a option none the less.
