Worthless season and worthless developing effort - blizzard is a joke

New season = new laggy unplayable broke game
New season= just a copy of nothing
slowly but surely your company turned into a predatory trashy company…

good luck at surviving last epoch, especially since now they invest in content and quality in the coming future while you still have nothing to show off but a rip-off.

i think this should be labeled what it is: an extended beta.
to create the next generation arpg i suppose this is how it should be done, how it has to be done: in conjunction with the community, slowly sculpting the game cycle.
the aggravating issue is that people pay a lot of money to get into this beta, and that’s of questionable ethics when there can be no game without the bulk data the players provide during these seasons (beta rounds). So then we’re working for them but we’re not getting payed, rather we pay to work for them and that’s where the shoe chafe. At least for me. But sure, I get they need to pay those who do the real job; I do get that. But how is it that we pay 100€ for an unfinished product (it is unfinished undisputably as “Diablo” isn’t even in the game yet despite being the main protagonist)? Ya, we do get cosmetics for our troubles but the price we pay should be half or a quarter, or less, or not at all.
The way this is handled and what it is pretended to be is less than elegant and show a lack of respect for the customers.

Already today I am tired of playing it. I used to be boring, but now boring and without loot :))) This situation is especially funny given the scandal with Poe 2 associated with the same reason.

Just beating the dead horse here, but I’ve never seen the forums so upset/abysmal. Like yea, we’ve had lots of complaints in the past, but there is basically no positive feedback whatsoever at this point.

Microsoft really dug their nasty fingers into the game hard.

i’ve experienced the game being significantly harder, which i approve of and enjoy.
i also think that the boss powers is a good step in the direction of letting us customize our characters more uniquely without having to fully rely on items. and that boss powers give a reason to kill the bosses beyond the loot, which is good. not sure if they’ll keep them though, or even if it’s a good idea to keep them; depends on what they’re thinking.
and i think the season story is alright. i’ll try and enjoy it, i usually just skip ahead but recently i’ve been thinking that’s a mistake since it’s a well crafted story. belial’s voice actor isn’t convincing to me, however. i need something demonic, it always has to be that.
mostly people feel ripped off from the reliquaries replacing the battle pass. idk how much worse it really is though. many talk about the platinum and the value, but idk… color me indifferent. i don’t really see how i get more or less with this, not yet. this “battlepass” comes with wings it seems, which has a lot of fomo potential. many oppose the spirit of fomo but maybe it’s the right way. makes them some money, at least. maybe they think that’s value enough to make a concerted effort to create an excellent game. it is, i think; it’s just that it could be so much more. or i think that while this game is great, no game is good these days because it’s all about making money and nothing about making games, and because of that the games don’t have the soul they had some decades ago when people were pioneering the gaming field.

Well, the team working on Diablo 4 clearly has a problem with the game’s vision. Not to mention how often itemization has been changed, and even so, I personally think it’s in poor shape. The current situation is that instead of balancing class spells or expanding the character passive tree, they’re playing copy-paste with various external “powers.”

The problem is that some classes have 2–3 strong builds, while others might have just one that can handle Torment 4. In my opinion, D4 isn’t an ARPG, it’s a battle pass simulator—except you pay real money for that battle pass.

The solution to itemization is simple… Bring back the original runewords from D2, increase the number of runeword slots on items to six. That gives us a clear goal for itemization and something to trade with others, the economy thrives, and players grind. Let runewords be used to boost even unique and mythic items… or make it so that some mythic or unique items can be crafted via runewords.

On top of that, rework the classes—give them subclasses with separate trees, and implement a leveling system for those subclasses (a separate level for the base class, and one for the subclass).

But why listen to the community when they can make a weak roadmap, skip another expansion this year because the last one flopped, and now they’re trying to financially salvage whatever they call “Diablo 4,” because every season is a disappointment.

Someone on their team forgot that to sell something, it has to be good. You can’t rely on going viral just because of the name and nostalgia from an old brand—people see what’s going on.

It was supposed to be Diablo 4, but it turned out to be Diablo 3 v2… Between the two, I’d rather D4 was Diablo 2 version 2.
