When playing, let me be able to zoom out up to 50 % more. Let me choose between D2R zooming and current D4 zoom in.
SAME TIME, when I open trade, show the other player Zoomed in, like the Inspect zoom. I want to see who I am trading with and how they look

That’s not “Zoom” that is actually camera panning… which you cannot do as of right now.
I think they mean the in-game zoom function. Even the “zoomed out” camera seems to be a little too “zoomed in”. Needs a third option for the zoom funtion to go further out, actually see what’s around us better.
i would enjoy the “open world” even more zoomed out, i hope they take on this soon
Yeh ur right we need higher camera distance. all other diablo games has way higher camera distance than this one has.
He meant Camera distance increase. which can be accounted as “zoom” and it literally needs to be increased. as it’s pretty much worst thing bout diablo 4, since it’s pretty much half of distance other diablo Franchise games has.

I have seen your other Topic, just logged on though and was too tired to reply last night so figure i would just do it here instead… basically there is a way to increase the zoom out from its current distance, but it only works when you are on horseback, there’s a few lines within the config that might be possible to tweak in regard… but i can speak no more on this matter as i might break some sort of rule regarding modification (even though the option - values are there to change) But im sure that Blizzard have locked down the camera… here is why:
Originally there was no cap on the zoom, and im sure you will all hate the decisions even more based on this but… the reason the zoom is as it is now is because people who used ultra wide screens - which blizzard do not support had a huge advantage as they could see much further away than those who were stuck with a normal 4:3/16:9 etc, so… Blizzards FIX for this was, yep you guessed it… make the main camera only zoom in/out so far and like this every aspect ratio now has the same on-screen.
It is an utterly infuriating attempt of not attempting to fix the fault to start with, that being ultra wide screen monitors or even those that ran with multiple monitor setups, this was highlighted in beta where many people noticed the tactical advantage and released videos of comparisons between a normal aspect vs ultra wide and multiple monitors, it was very easy to see the differences.
Blizzard in all their amazing wisdom locked the zoom because they refuse to supply users with ultra wide support, i can pull sources if you need to clarify…
Here is one such comparison so you can see:

Thx.
I am afraid that they zoom in to drive us to the shop and make the game for mobile later.
I am ok to see other character close when trading.
