The wide monitors are becoming so popular these days that the support for wider aspect ratios should be added to the game. Why has this not been done already? Are the developers lazy? What is the issue here?

how exactly would that look like though? I don’t see an advantage from this, other than what it already is: easy access to browser for coping with roping ;D
There is not much point in this. You would have the board in the center and big static picture of a background left an right of the board. They have to keep the shape (ratio) of cards and board, otherwise they would look at least strange. Plus they would have to change (adjust) all the animation in the game.
If you thought that they should change whole position of board and cards, then that would just be waste of money and time for meaningless percentage of users that want this.
Whit that wide monitor you can have comfortable open game on one side and any other application on the other side.
I disagree. Im using a widescreen, and right now there are big black bars on each side. they should at least put something there, right now its really ugly.

Couldn’t agree more! at least enlarge the blue-ish banner on the background or something
agreed. not all of us like multitasking. I have a widescreen monitor because I like immersive gaming. Seeing the black bars on the side is ugly and I would really appreciate even a border like Hades widescreen has. There’s already the background in HS, how much trouble would it be just to extend it…
