Aggro is it dead in Standard

The meaning of aggro is in HS is basically low cost minions or playing on curve to close the game out by turn 5/6/7. Each year the aggro win by turn 4/5/6 has been increasing year by year. This expansion seems to have increased the winning earlier less likely , so by turning HS into a more Combo, control meta.

The pirate warrior a few years back was when aggro was a bit mad and you could win by turn 3 but this meta I find its getting longer when your playing aggro. The question is aggro is it a thing in HS now or have those days now gone ?

This Deck List is fun and quick but you can take the odd egg out put in a expired merchant for extra cards in hand if you have History Buff on board. This deck is quick spit fire like with high roles for buffing and closing the game out by turn 5/6 latest. The synergy between low cost cards earlier and Soularium refilling your hand does add pressure to your opponent.

It’s not that it’s dead, but the fact that the big bad control deck, warrior, is favourite against them has put them in weird spot. Your Zoo list is solid but murloc shaman is probably the best pure aggro deck atm. Quest and Murloc Paladin are also good and usually on the proactive side of the game.
