The ranks of the opponents are irrelevant as Hearthstone moved to the MMR system some time ago. It’s their MMR that actually matters, and you can’t see your own either (Not in normal play anyway)
And this is where i see the problem i haven’t played hs in while and the best i could reach was silver / silver 5
now i am stuck between bronze 10 and 5 cant get past it because i have a roughly 90% lose change because i am simply put outplayed by players
i know i know get better and this is true but!
how shall i motivate myself to get better if i have a 90% lose rate?
whats the point of bronze silver gold and so on?
i had a high losing rate in the past starting at silver either with the old system and the system before that
but with this new system will i ever reach at least bronze 5?
well truth be told i am close to quit this game because i dont see the point in being a punching bag
i play against ppl who pull of combos that i see when i watch ppl like trump and those ppl out smart and out play me i can live with that
i am just a casual dude who wanna play a few rounds having a good time on low level
but with this system its no fun at all for a casual dude and that makes me sad because i had a lot of fun till this point
Sorry, my English is bad, but I was thinking: would not “getting better” improve your winrate? So you will not lose 90% of times, but less times?
When I play, I sometimes spot a mistake right after I’ve made it. When I play, I sometimes spot the mistakes of the opponent - sometimes, it is really obvious they do not know what they are doing. People say this game is RNG fiesta and there is no skill involved, but there is. I know my cap is around Platinum levels where I get punished for mistakes more than at lower ranks.
Of course, it is a bit demotivating to lose X times in a row, but there could be reasons like bad deck, too much mistakes.
Nayrusa, can you share the decklist you are playing. I understand your frustration, I’ve been there many times, but I’m yet to be at 10%WR if there isn’t something wrong with my deck and/or the way I play it against the current meta.

Honestly I get u !! This game is full rigged is like playing a casino slot machine … most card games are but hearthstone is the king and as u said it’s success in ranked is pay to win … so my best advice for anybody is just stop wasting ur money and time … legends of runeterra is out and honestly after playing hearthstone and being a diamond 5-1 … and a mythic in mtga, i can tell u both are so expensive … while runeterra Is completely free !! I already got 5 meta decks and I’m climbing …. I still play hearthstone from time to time …. But come on, there are too many good games out there to waste your time
With a slot machine …. Come to league of legends , wild rift , team
Fight tactics, valorant, counter, Starcraft … honestly those are skill games based, without counting tft and runeterra, but hey they’re both really free !! So come on, try new things
When someone is really mad about losing in a crazy way were most of the time faces counters he/she either quit or buy more packs in order to play the season’s OP deck

Freaking true ! I was playing and face some big spell mage with my hakkar druide the yogg saron burned my second copy of hakkar in my hand and burned the corrupted blood in his own deck and burned my jade idol in my deck like wtf and the guy didn’t even played more than 10 spell … it’s like he selected the perfect “random” spell to make me lose my win condition wtf. ps : the yogg used demonic project to transform my hakkar in hand ( i still haved 5 minnion in hand so 1/5 chance to hit the win condition ) he make the opponent draw 3 cards he was at 7 cards the only card he burned was the corrupted blood next turn it was 1/13 cards left in the deck … and he did the same with my hand i was almost full and he make me draw some cards the only cards i burned and my last win condition was the jade idol that i burned on 1/10 cards left …
RNG does not = matchfixing, prove your claims, what would blizzard gain? Nothing, people would be leaving if it was so. We all hit bad RNG once in a while, thats how a RNG card game works…
Of course it bring frustration and with frustration you will buy more pack you learn this in the first year of marketing lesson … Sometimes i got the same situation but in favor of me i winned almost all roll even the low like less than 10% ALL GAME LONG. Making those algo make that switch to frustration and everything favor you make monetisation work in every free to play there is a lot of studies on this things is not new at all and we know that zephrys is exactly a changed copy of that algorythme.
blizzard fix the algo so that the people who buy more packs win more games. this is 100% the reason I’ve never reached legend because I have am F2P. 100% srs…peace out blud.

Honestly guys, you sound fing crazy, spewing BS with no facts, suuuure blizz would fix the game that way LOL i havnt paid for this game in ages, my RNG is kinda the same now as it was 7 years ago, instead of you talking BS just do a simple thing, prove your claims…
like you said you haven’t played in a while. blizz fix the game srs. they want to maximize the profits cuz blud srs.

PS: Bilizz will keep people in the game more online, most people can get ambitious in the game, as a result, they can get a deck. This is called trading.

Im not sure what you are trying to point out, ofc there will be people leaving and comming back to this game, it has some years bejind it by now, I came back last year after a break of 3 years, I simply just had enough of hearthstone by that time, nothing to do with the game being fixed or anything like that, again you claim some bs as if its facts, for the last time, since you scrubs are so sure there is cheat with the game, just effing prove it, you just ramble…

You cant prove shait, you are chasing ghosts, the game aint fixed, you are playing a RNG based card game, if you just knew how maby times ive been scammed by RNG, its just part of the game, move on.
Yes, the only way you can climb the ladder is playing OP unfair deck or doing psychological war against your enemy and force it to give up if you are lucky… or if he is feeling himself unlucky enough because of the bad card draws…
It is just ridicules how visible that is… If I remove silence from my deck, and put in Yogi or Mutanus then I get Priests… If I put in silence and King of Stormwind, then I get mindless dragon druids all the time… who put on the stupid 8 armor 2 times and makes me lose with the f.en Kazakusan sht… where is the justice? Just flush on the toilet this manipulated matchmaking system already please… it is just pathetic…
I always just wanted to play fair games, oversmart my enemy by playing my own deck and using my skills… but this is impossible when the game decides I have to lose and not giving the cards I need in time… but enemy has everything he needs… not even making any mistakes… just counter everything I do most of the times… thats why I don’t believe in this game anymore… that many accidents just not exists by natural way… Impossible…

I think you just give up too easily. We’re all subject to the same matchmaking. The opponent who defeated you will meet his equal in the next match, and then he will lose in turn.
We all lose and win about the same number of games.
Customer Service told me that if i post my problem to this forum it will be noticed by devs. Because devs read forums weekly / daily even.

Matchmaking is BS and it has nothing to do with you winning or loosing games (like it says in the game).
It has everything to do with the deck that you play.
And some people in this forum are saying that it is a RNG- game just deal with it. But it is not RNG when you are FORCED to play against a deck that counters yours. And this happens to all of us.
And as long as people are ok with this and saying “its RNG game” the devs wont do anything about it.
Anyone else feel the same way?
