The word “lion” in standard English has two related meaning:
- Any member of the species Panthera leo.
- A male member of the species Panthera leo.
If you’re going to object to using the species name and not the gender-specific name on a card that depicts a member of said species and happens to depict a female member, then I’m wondering who is the SJW here.

Anyway we had a lion in our local zoo who lost his mane due kastration do maybe a hormon thing.
