What’s the point of creating so many new cards for Hearthstone each expansion if every single player plays the 4 meta decks of the moment and playing anything else will get you destroyed and will prevent you from winning any game against them?
That’s anything but fun, and I’m quitting the game for that reason. Maybe at some point you should try and have meetings about balancing classes so you don’t lose any more players.

If you don’t like Standard, play Twist. It’s actually fun without any overpowered decks. Here’s one I’ve built: Dragon Paladin.
It’s solid enough to get you to Legend

To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone
Unfortunately like all card games, people have to leech off others success. They don’t have the capacity to create their own decks in this day and age… shame really, but that’s online crews for you.

Sasha, you are completely missing my point…
Why would I want to COPY a deck when I’m saying the issue is precisely that noone creates anything and just copies other people’s decks that are good at a given moment…
Maybe I’ll try Twist, but I’ll try creating my own deck…
Where’s the fun in copy pasting someone else’s work and then flexing for winning games…
EDIT : I tried Twist and all I could see were people playing a very similar version of your deck… So much for creativity. That’s it, I’m done with the game. Every single game mode is just composed of 3 different decks that EVERONE is playing lol…

People want to climb ranks so they’ll be playing strong decks to get to the top of the ladder. How is that different from any other competitive card game?
Dragons are strong in Twist right now.
You can spice up your deck with different tech cards, but the foundation must still be solid to be able to win: cards that generate card advantage, buffing cards, strong tempo cards, etc.
The given number of cards in Hearthstone is irrelevant. It’s about how many of them you can combine into a winning formula.
The strongest combinations will always rise to the top.
Create your own winning formula out of the cards you have.

Excellent comment GusEU.
Most people don’t know how to create their own decks so they’ll copy whatever works.
You can blame the human factor. It’s just the reality of things.
Back in 2014 the most popular Warlock deck in Hearthstone was Zoo. So the majority of Warlocks encountered on the ladder were Zoo Warlocks. Because it was the most effective Warlock build.
Fast forward 10 years to 2024, Zoo Warlock is history, and Sludge Warlock is there to replace it. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Create an anti-meta deck. All the right cards are at your disposal.
You can’t expect to play Ranked and encounter random Brawl decks. They won’t be able to win.
