Are there bots in heartstone. Ignore player option?

I often encounter passive players/bots, just had a match with a paladin not doing anything but summon his hero power. I dont see the point in it when you loose every fight that way.

Its also very annoying because you sit and w8 for turns since they let it run out. I just dont leave to loose the reward. I have experiensed it many times, and if its some kind of bots why is it not being looked at.

I miss a way to report these “players”, like right click there portrait or something. These is no way to get rid if these loosers, or what it is.

I wish I could find these bot programs online. Not to use them obviously, just to report them. Anyone know?

I think that there should be tips on identifying bots some place here in the forum, I remember playing folk who’s card hovered over the board for a length of time and was told that these were bots, for a while there were no bots with this action but slowly they have reappeared as far as I can tell. There may be new bots with new tell tale signs that I have no clue of so it would be helpful to have a list of characteristics to watch for.
Would this be possible?

You were told wrong.

Yeah the hovering card is when you’ve disconnected at the server end. If it’s there for any more than say 5 secs you should close and restart hearthstone to try and avoid missing your turn/losing the game.

If your playing a netdeck then the way to spot a bot is that every turn is gona look and feel the same, through mannerisms and pacing.

If your playing your own deck then they are incredibly easy to spot as they don’t know how to cope with the unknown deck and start making nonsense plays that no human would make e.g. massive over/under trades, depending on how it’s programmed to deal with unknown combinations, or even skip it’s turn where it can’t work out what to do.

But why in a game like this they dont get anything out of doing it.

Well they get the XP which does get you gold.
