Battleground leapfrogger deathrattle mechanic

Hi,

I have a question about the deathrattle mechanics of the leap frogger.

I have noticed that sometime when you kill the last minion on the field which has the leap frogger and spawns minions it sometimes does trigger the leap frogger deathrattle on the newly spawned minion and sometimes does not.

If the new minion spawned is a beast it will trigger, otherwise it won’t cause leapfrogger only works on beasts.

Should be the same, if it’s a beast it will get the frogs.
