Hi,
Today I was playing a game of Battlegrounds and noticed something which look off. I was playing a Quilboar game and had the “Bristlebach” and “Dynamic Duo” on the field. The “Bristlebach” has the effect: Avenge (1): Play a Blood Gem on all your Quilboar. The “Dynamic Duo” has the effect: After a Blood Gem is played on another Quilboar, gain +1/+1, but when in combat the “Bristlebach” plays a Blood Gem on other Quilboar the “Dynamic Duo” doesnt get the +1/+1 for each Blood Gem played. I have been playing Hearthstone for a long while now so I think I am correct when saying that the card text, as it is right now, should give the “Dynamic Duo” an extra +1/+1 in combat for each Blood Gem played by the “Bristlebach” effect, shouldn’t it?
I could be wrong off course ,but I wanted to let you guys know either way!
I get the feeling that the Dynamic Duo’s effect is not actually an effect that goes off during combat but just during the shopping phase. Probably wrong but eh.
Unless specificly written, all effects are tavern only. There are exceptions and are written as During combat, Start of combat. There is only one card in the game that keeps Combat phase buffs, and that is Terecgosa
Thats simply not true. Many effects that are not specificly tagged as infight only have interactions infight. For example “Tough tusk” can be seen as the same mechanic type and it procs its divine shield infight after the bristlebach avenge gem is played. So behaviour is just not consistent. They either have to remove interaction on other cards, add it on duo or just change the text. But in the current way its just a bug.
Hm. You know what, fair enough I guess.
