Battlegrounds: Fiendish Servant/Baron Interaction Bug?

I noticed in a recent run with a golden Fiendish Servant and Baron Rivendare it doesn’t seem to add up. The gold version says “give this minion’s attack to a random minion twice”. Baron SHOULD double this effect. However, instead of the attack being spread four times, it only does it three times.

At first I thought it was ignoring the animation if it did it on the same minion but then saw a golden Imp boss get all the buffs but go from 4 attack to 16, when it should’ve gone to 20 attack.

It feels like Baron’s only triggering the minion’s original effect rather than the golden effect. Is this normal for golden deathrattles?

Pretty sure it’s always proxed 4 times for me, so unless you see it again, my guess is you just missed 1 of the buffs, maybe on the baron?

occured three battles in a row only seeing the animation go off three times, and when it went on just the imp it listed only 3 buffs

Well that is strange, the wiki even says it’s 4.

If it gives the buff to the same minion the animation will only go off once for it, might be the case for you
