Battlegrounds in nutshell

Just buy Quilboars and if you luck you get the most broken ones before others. That is pretty much only way to win anymore

Correct. If the algorithm decides you will win then you will receive the best cards early. If it decides you will lose then you will not even see them in your tavern, but your opponents will have golden versions early.

So you either win the algo lottery or you lose. Its that simple.

Quilboars are in the worst spot they’ve been in for a while, so I don’t know exactly what inspires your opinion here.

How do you think he is wrong tho? In solo if Quil is available then you pick it and most times you win or top 4 while another quil wins. In duos its the same. Personally I feel like best in solo for me is quil, elemental and Naga. I know Beasts is great too but I guess I just never liked playing them and neither do I find beast being good enough most times,

For Duo Quil, dragon, elemental, naga.

And yet I just won as mechs in a lobby with quillboars … and not one quillboar build was in the top 4. This is at around 7000 rating.

Quillboars barely ever come 1st once you get above 6000 ranking. Demons are by far the most powerful if the build is done right.

You were lucky, the algo decided you were going to win before the game started.

You insult him by insinuating his own skill was not the difference between him winning and losing. Do not equate your own reliance on luck to everyone else relying on it.

No I am able to pick and use a hero plus buddy effectively a lot of the time, I get it wrong sometimes, and I try to adapt to the cards I’m given not rely on a build and pray for the cards I want.

There is no skill in Battlegrounds so it would be impossible for me to insult anyone’s skill.

You are bad at a game so there must be no skill? Talk about arrogant and clueless …

If there is no skill involved in a game, how can one be ‘bad’ at it? It makes no sense. You can only be ‘lucky’ or ‘unlucky’ in Battlegrounds. Those are the two possibilities.

Spoken by someone that doesn’t understand basic mathematical concepts or probability. For someone that dislikes the game, you spend a lot of time with it consuming your thoughts.
Even before your conspiracy theories you were blaming teammates in duos for your lack of understanding of how to play. Its hilarious really.

Its not conspiracy theories if there is so much proof available. There are tons of videos out there that proves everything that I said. People must just go and watch them. They aren’t my videos. Go and watch Shadybunny, RDU, Jeef etc and they will even state that it was luck.

If you don’t believe me, surely you will believe someone like Jeef?

I watch Shadybunny, you really haven’t understood what he says, have you? If anything, he gets screwed over more by the game being so jank that he accidentally sells a massive Drakkari instead of the minion he just placed down cuz the game said “NOPE!”.

That isn’t luck. That’s a bug in the Unity engine being extremely annoying. And he still landed in the top 2.

This is the problem, you hear what you want to hear even if it is not actually what they are saying or what is happening as you need that validation. If this game was all luck then the same people wouldn’t hit the high ranks every season and people like you wouldn’t struggle every season.

Well the same people hit high ranks because they are always lucky and some people are unlucky. That’s life. Its unfair but that’s how it is.

Do yourself a favour and watch the film Intacto. Its a Spanish film with English subtitles. Then come back to the forums.

Do yourself a favour and learn that there is no such thing as luck in a game based on chance, only probability. Go to school and learn maths then come back to the forums.

You will never hit high ranks because you are bad at the game. The sooner you realise that it’s on you to improve, not the game, the sooner you’ll be a better person.

You are missing the point. If a game is 100% luck you cannot be ‘good’ or ‘bad’ at it. It is simply not possible. You can only be ’lucky’ or ‘unlucky’. It would be like saying someone is ‘good’ at playing slot machines in the casino. It doesn’t make sense.
