I just had an idea for a card that, as an exclusive Battlegrounds card, could make an interesting tech choice that one might pick to hard counter some opponents but that doesn’t do that much otherwise.
It should be a higher tier, at least 4 (maybe 5 instead)? It should have relatively low stats, so that the minion itself does little to affect the board, and it should not have any tribe so that it can’t be buffed.
And then, it should have “Deathrattle: Silence a random enemy minion” (or perhaps even two, needs playtestingfor proper balance).
Thoughts?

I like the idea
Id suggest its no creature typ but minion to prevent synergies?
Also it would be more open to different classes

Yes. I intended to include that in my idea, if I forgot then I’m happy you added it.
The minion should be a tech choice. One spot on the board that provides no stats and cannot be buffed to provide stats (except for Defender of Argus and the hero power of some specific heroes), in exchange for a chance to get that 50/50 Wrath Weaver back to 1/1.
(Plus, you don’t even want to buff it, it needs to die fast to get value)

I just played with one of the new minions. at first I thought that it was basically a pickup of your idea, but once I read the card text correctly, I realized it wasn’t. shame.
it’s the 2/1 demon with deathrattle: give this minion’s attack to a random friendly minion.
at first I read “give this minion’s attack to a random enemy minion”.
That card text is confusing. I thought that the attack of that minion would replace the attack of a random other minion. Only after seeing it in action did I realize that it actually buffs another minion for its own attack value.
Still a pretty crappy minion in my opinion. Most of my games I care more about health than about attack value. And when I do care about attack, then the attack of that minion tends to be too low to really matter, and land on the wrong target.
But it’s nice for early demon comp’s, I guess.
I would like to see new BG dragons to be added to accommodate the buff cards. Since Amalgam is no longer part of it, the dragon aspect of it got wasted I think.
Most of the current dragon cards won’t fit the bill, so I hope Blizzard goes on a limb and make BG tribal cards more diverse.
