Hello did blizzard overslept this season or Balance patch is non existence.
Really only like 4 tribes are playable if you dont have god hand its garbonzo.

So end this season or push Balance update this is triggering.
Or am i alone in this thinking this season is super weird?

Every tribe is reasonably playable right now tbh. Maybe beasts and raw attack undead could use some love.

You are correct. You either high roll and squash everyone or you don’t and you get squashed. Skill has become irrelevant.

If there are Quilboar then pick Quilboar. No QB then you pick Dragons. No QB or Dragons then you pick Naga. The rest are memes.

Windfury and who goes first is the meta. QB attack first with Windfury then GG.

What in the world are you talking about? That sounds like the meta at 2k mmr maybe.

Tier 4 quilboar are a balance outlier, but dragons and naga certainly are not, not even close.

Look, at the end of the day it is a luck game. There is no skill involved whatsoever. Zero skill. In every game there are players that high roll. It is either you or it is not. If it is you, you win. If not you lose. Simple.

That is why your opponent finds 5 or 6 of a minion in the shop and you dont even see 1 of that same minion.

The lucky players have high MMR. The unlucky players have low MMR. It really is that simple. BG is pure luck.

nah man. Do you act like this in every aspect of life? Your job promotion isn’t just luck. Finding a suitable relationship isn’t just luck.

I have played BG since launch, playing hundreds of games, possibly even thousands. I speak from experience.

However, let me rather offer solutions.

  1. Concede button from Turn 8. By turn 8 you already know your final position, so why waste time? Rather start a new game. This concede will not result in major ranking loss because it is not the players fault. It was simply bad luck.
  2. Show players rankings at all times.
  3. Replays. If other games can have replays then so can HS.

Start with those 3 and then come back to me.

We can see players rankings and replays of the games with external software that 99% of all competitive players use already.

Hearthstone adding it would be nice, but kind of an already occupied space.

Turn 8? You’ve got to be kidding me. Variance happens, but the best players ALWAYS come out on time in the long run.

Maybe if you’re a quitter. Experience doesn’t automatically mean you have more skill than others. I could play a thousand games of Battlegrounds and still have 1.5k MMR if I play like zhit.

You cannot know your final position by turn 8 except by one method. Giving up.
