No, it is not a case where multiple people lost at the same time where you can also loose rating hence being in 3rd or 4th place
You were in a lobby with people who rank a lot lower than you.

That is not my choice nor gameplay related, Why should I loose rating because of the matchmaking issues?
You are talking like I designed the game and the ranking system … I’m just telling you that is why. The amount of ranking points you get is dependent on your MMR vs the opponents MMR.

Probably because the matchmaking system follows what many other games have also done. This game is not unique when it comes to its matchmaking.
