Blizzard bots in ranked play

Why are there so many blizzard bots(you know this because the opponents name is not visible in your “latest opponents-list”) in ranked play. I’m gold 6 at the moment and today i was ranking, i won like 15 games against human players that played with meta-decks, and suddenly i get 4 bots after another, always aggro and full of bugs(making beginner mistakes) but they are programmed to win in like 4 turns. Those are the only aggro i come across in mid gold ranked. I understand that there could not be enough human players available at some moment during the day, but it’s getting anoying that this is even during peak hours(16h-20h). Why cant you change the searching to take more time instead of just: “O, we see you didn’t find a human opponent within 10 sec of searching here is a bot full of bugs, this will make the game more fun for you”. I’ts becoming f******* frustrated to play ranked, and i’m thinking to even just plain quit the game.

Really? Ive had the opposite experience. I’ve never lost to one of the bots.

From my experience, they seem to be there as a means to prevent you from being deranked completely, they’re really easy match ups to win. often, they will play locations and just buff your minions with it or they will freeze their own. At first I thought they were people being weird lol but once I realised how the bots play vs others, it was quite easy to just blow through them lol

I actually kind of like it as those bot matches have saved me a bunch of times after wanting to throw my computer out the window at the degenerate and toxic mech mages and turn 4-5 swarming going on, DK, Hunter etc.

Then there is perma-objection secret rogue, which frankly if anyone here plays that deck, please quit the game, uninstall and never come back. You are disgusting all of you.

I do not WANT to play against bots, if i wanted to play against bots I would play some other game like legends of runeterra: path of champions(which has decent programming behind them).
I just tested it out with conceding the moment i came up against a bot, I got 27 bots in a fcking row and then i just gave up. What the hell has become of this piece of sit.

What happens is perfectly logical and totally expected. Bots are prevalent in the lower MMR regions, because there are not enough players there. So the lower your MMR is, the higher the chance of running into a bot. Conceding is a loss, which lowers your MMR, so you have just very actively ensured that your next many games will also be against bots, until you have harvested enough wins against bots to climb out of dumpster MMR ranks.

Perhaps one day Blizzard will implement an option where you can choose between a bot, a 15-minute queue time, or a Diamond 3 opponent, if there are no human opponents of your MMR available when you queue up. If you ask them nicely, without profanities, they might actually think about it. But at this time, that option is not available.

Contradictory as it sounds, if you do not want to play against bots, then you need to play AND WIN against bots until your MMR and rank are high enough that you can find human opponents within reasonable queue time.
