Hey everyone,
I’ve done everything I could to get help from Blizzard’s customer support, but no one has been willing to look into my issue or offer any explanation about the ban.
This all started around August 10, 2024, when a stranger logged into my account from China and exploited a bug to steal it. So, I created a new account to contact customer support, explaining that my account had been compromised and I needed it recovered. I submitted all the necessary information (security questions, passport, driver’s license, purchase history), and after several appeals, Blizzard finally agreed to transfer my account to my email.
However, for some reason, when I logged in to play Hearthstone, I found that my account had been locked. Strangely, all my other games were still accessible, but Hearthstone was locked. I contacted customer support again, pointing out that my account was locked, and I couldn’t log into Hearthstone. I submitted a ticket, and every response I got was robotic: “This penalty has been upheld, and any further tickets will not be reviewed.” So, out of nowhere, I couldn’t play my game.
I’ve been playing Hearthstone for years, spending countless hours and money on it. I’m well aware of Blizzard’s terms of service and in-game policies, but the customer support team refuses to help me. Is it my fault that my account was stolen? The punishment that the hacker should face shouldn’t be on me.
