Sha of hatred 3 mana cost minion legendary 2/2 battle cry: destroy the opponents quest and gain +1/+1
think this would be a fair card not great stats but at least a decent counter to quests and since its a legendary you can only have 1 in your deck so you must also be lucky to draw it
Nah, just delete quests from the game.
I’ve come to like Questlines.
I think the Warlock build is fairly overpowered, but otherwise I like them.
I would rank Hunter and Warrior next in terms of power.
I haven’t faced any Warlocks today, so that’s cool.
Isn’t this just a certain evolution of Handlock? I didn’t like going against Handlock back in 2014, and I don’t like it now. So, nothing’s new here.
I’ve been playing with the Druid and Rogue questlines, and they’re fine.
The Druid’s questline actually counters Mage since you’re gaining a lot of Armor and Attack to be rushed down.
I actually managed to kill Warlock now with Rogue’s Quest. It does take a fair amount of skill to pilot Warlock’s questline to completion.
Despite my opponent’s success with reducing the cost of his hand several times, I was still able to beat him.
I put two Octo-bots into my Rogue quest deck.
I cant remember the exact math but i think if you hard muligan for a card its a big percentage that you will get it i dont wanna say a number because i cant remember but anyway i dont like that idea its like Elusia , If the meta settles on quests being tier 1 decks then aggro like shaman or paladin will beat them its better to run a deck like that instead of just destroying the quest, also this will have effect on quests that are not mage or warlock which are hated , but even quests that are normal powered and just fun
I recall running the math for Barnes and it was something like 40% to get it up to the turn you wanted to play it if you hard mulligan for it.
Yeah maybe if i was gonna guess i would say smthing like 35 to 36 but i feared i might get attacked if the number was too high , so yeah a card that destroys quests would be consistant and bad for the game
Either my opponents don’t know how to pilot Questline Mage,or they draw poorly, but I’ve only ever lost twice to it.
I put Shattered C’thun and two Malevolent Strikes in my Quest Rogue to have more removal against large minions.
The Warlock matchup is still hard, but if my opponent draws badly, I have a chance, and I can manipulate some of his card draws with one of the Gizmos.
actually a option to destroy the quest IS the way to balance the game
cause people who all play the card that itself isn’t a very good card to counter quest so people will avoid paying quest but then people remove that quest destroyers and then it balance out with people playing start playing quest again i think its a perfect solution
I am a little confused with the second paragraph of yours , i guess you mean ppl play quest are gonna stop playing cause they get destroyed , after a while the decks run the quest destroyer will remove it to play something better , cause they remove it quest will reappear while the quest destroyer is going back in the decks. I dont like the sound of that meta i made a post about my ideas on how to slow the quests and not kill them. Now lets say they kill them lets say they ban them , lets say you are a hearthstone dev and you are trying to think of new cards what are you gonna print?
If you print an otk that is good ppl ask to get nerfed , if you print a control deck that is good ppl ask to get nerfed (and i dont mean the toxic endless generate priest) if an aggro deck is good all is fine unless i cant remember a topic where actually aggro decks where targeted (example last metas face hunter he was tier 1 with high winrate and the aggro shaman even tho shaman had so many bad expansions i felt like he deserved it)
Do we really want next expansion to get a few new minions a few new spells that promote aggro some meme cards for the fun or achievements, and the meta from here and on should go aggro number 1 and tier 2 some control decks that counters them but not always good enough
I rather see tries to balance stuff so we have a meta that control beats aggro , aggro beats otk , and otk beats control with a 60% chance in the hands of a great player and some midrange decks that could beat otk or aggro maybe at 57% but had to be lucky to get past a control deck, i doupt it will happen cause most are ok with an aggro meta they want to play 50 games get legend in 8 hours then next month. Now dont get me wrong the fact that otk works on turn 5 to 7 is bad real bad but there are ways to slow them without completely killing them
Also i have a question some players complain about the quests usually mage and warlock , those 2 decks cant beat aggro elemental shaman i dont mean all the time but they lose to that , what are those people playing? do they try a deck of their choise they hope to work but it doesnt? cause it happens to me also (for example i had high hopes for pin mage but he sucks ) do they also play the same quests but lose to better rng or skill? do they play a control deck that should lose in my opinion from otk. Noone ever asked that and noone ever said hey i was playing that lose to that
