Doomcaller reads:
Battlecry: Give your C’Thun +2/+2(Whereever it is.) If it is dead; shuffle it into your deck.
The Amazing Reno reads:
Battlecry: Make all minions disappear.

My understanding is that “disappear” doesn’t mean “dead”. Why did C’thun get shuffled back into my opponents deck after “Disappearing”?
If its a battlecry the shuffle cthun back happened befor you played reno, or do i missunderstand you?
I imagine they meant C’thun got poofed then they used Doomcaller which shuffled it back. TBH, I’m not really sure, maybe Doomcaller just checks the hand , deck and field then checks the decklist. If C’thun is in the list but no where to be found then it would just shuffle it in.
That would make sense but yeah that shouldnt happen
