Creative deck names

I always try to give different names to my decks, mostly to know if I’m playing my version or someone else’s version. However I always try to add something with the name, like telling a story, or giving me a hint of how I built it.

Below I’ll leave some of the deck names I invented over the years but I also want to hear about your creative deck names.

Kathrena’s Vanguard - Kinda self explanatory I think. There are other variants (Army, Bots, Eggs, etc)

Awaken the Shadows - The original name I gave to my Quest Reno Raza Priest (way before it was a thing, mind you!)

Coldareno - Reno Mage running Coldarra Drake

Girl’s Party - By far my favorite deck name. Valeera, Aya, Umbra and Sonya went out on a party! What else could it be?

Greedy Dragons - Extremely greedy Dragon Priest

Big Timmy (aka The Troll is Back) - A Big Priest running only Barnes, Y’Sharj, Stalag and Feugen

Get Ready to Shudder - A Jade Shaman running Shudderwock, that originally ran Grumble, which sounded a lot better (you have to say the name like a ring announcer saying 'Let’s get ready to rumbbbbbbbbbble" or you are doing it wrong)

Murloc All Stars - My first deck, a Control Anyfin Paladin

Shielded Mini Rag - Original name of a Taunt Warrior built to delay Crystal Rogue

Proselytist - A Priest that just “converted” stuff, like cards, minions, etc. Worst deck ever.

Trollock - warlock with a bunch of disruption cards, also one of the first warlock decks i made

Keep on rattleing - priest with a bunch of deathrattle cards with the deck entirely based on priests legendary spell

BUBBLES - paladin with everything having divine shield and that one minion that gets buffed from removing divine shields

Witchwood awoken - shaman full of battlecrys for shudderwock and contains the hagathas

Witchwood Reawoken - a wild variation of previous deck that incorporates cthun cards

Cthuns army - a druid deck not based on cthun but buffing him to get big 4/10 minions to which i also give taunt to make them a 6/12 with taunt, also twin emperor (also my first deck ive ever made which got little improvements over time)

Change! - a warlock deck based around renouce darkness

HELLO! HELLO! - the most orginal and creative name as its based on annoy-o bots

Just chill - a name i gave to a freeze mage deck cause i like puns

This should never win - a warlock deck that i guess i just focused on value cause i just picked cards i liked and for whatever reason it has the highest win rate out of all my other decks despire there being no proper synergies or focus

And finally

Whizbang is wonderfull - because he is truly wonderfull

My favourite ones no longer exist:
Odd Dude Soup: An odd Paladin trying to get value by tossing dudes into Witch’s Cauldron.

Single Dragon Moms: A very old Reno-dragon Mage.

My deck names are terrible.

Wacky Lackeys: Heistbaron Togwaggle Rogue with the addition of barista lynchen, spirit of the shark, augmented leek and pogo hopper with lots of bounces, shuffles and battle cries to annoy my opponent to conceding.

Yoink: A priest deck featuring a golden Madame lazuli I unpacked with mind control tech and mind control to steal everything from my opponent.

JAWSTHATBITE.exe: Shudderwock. Just Shudderwock.

“Power Overwhelmin”
“Exodia”
“Rubbish”
“trash”
“why god, why?!”
“Dragon Hunter”

if you give em too much love they stop working, make 'em earn it

my fav deck name is Toad & Elysiana, based on where I got it from. Toad gave me 29 cards of the deck and Elysiana gave me another 11.

Tbh my names ain’t that creative - Priest - Thicc Mechs, Rogue - Me Face, ME FACE! (I like the kobold boi from the heist), Rogue - My Baby! (take a guess), Druid - LargER Men and Rogue - Local elf stabs everyone (coupled with an unmistakable I was in charge!)

There are others but those are mostly just Beasty Bois, Mechy Bois, and stuff like that (so I don’t forget what they’re about)

I used to always try to come up with a fuunny deck name, but I had to give up. Seems I am not funny enough. But when I do have an idea I consider to be fun I still go for it.

From my currently active set of decks:
BOOM!!! - (Yeah, indeed: bomb warrior. So sue me)

I will be my death - Deathrattle rogue (in wild, with N’Zoth as one of the win conditions)

Them damn demons - Warlock deck with lots of demons, and Skull + Gul’dan to cheat them out when possible. Was a standard deck but has been made wild after the rotation and I still need to review it. I probably should add at least two Voidcallers, and if I want to make it really good I’ll have to craft Mal’Ganis.

Older decks, still in decktracker but not live in HS: (the further down the list, the older the deck)
Darwin! - Shaman with lots of evolve cards. (Not calling it Evolve Shaman b/c it’s very unlike any standard Evolve Shaman list)

!niwraD - An attempt to buid a Shaman deck around Devolve as an important defense tool. Not very succesful, by the way.

Sensory Overload - Shaman deck with overload synergies.

Allemaal beestjes - (That’s Dutch, it refers to a Dutch song from the '60s where the singer describes all the weird beasts they see after drinking too much). Obviously a Hunter beast deck.

Buffarenodin - Handbuff Paladin deck with Reno.

Two can keep a secret - Mage deck with secret synergy. Not even that many secrets, I just checked in it only had two copies of Counterspell and Mirror Entity, but the name relates to also running Kabal Lackey, Aranologist, Medivh’s Valet, Kirin Tor Mage, and Kabal Crystal Runner. I think I do now start to understand why the idea never really worked. :wink:

Combo Wombo - Rogue deck I once made to quickly finish a “play X combo cards” deck.

Bubbles - Paladin Divine Shield-based deck

Big is beautiful - Druid deck with ramp and big minions

The Rhum is gone - Pirate Warrior (in my defense, I only ever played it to finish a Play X pirates quest - recorded winrate in decktracker is 3-0)

Touch me, heal me - Priest with healing synergy. (I’m wondering how many here are old enough to understand the reference)
