This situation is really very frustrating. Most players are doing it deliberately.
Blizz team, make a real solution to this situation.
May be a reward…
Can be punished…
Etc…
Unfair & Wasted Time.
Thanks.
Although I dislike ropers, if you are finding an issue with slow players today it is because the game is having issues. You are slow playing them too, believe it or not.
Gwent has solved this problem pretty well (the ongoing one, not the technical one of course). after every game, there’s a button you can press to give your opponent a ‘gg’. if you do, they get a small reward (the equivalent of 5 gold/dust). if you don’t, they get nothing.
in Hearthstone (and in today’s Gwent) that reward should be upped to increase the effect, but essentially it puts a tax on being a dick.
I have a vague memory that we discussed this a long time ago. I’d go for that to be honest, I like nice folks and to reward good behavior.
I’m all for the dick tax (really, not a bad word?) well, I suppose one could keep on conceding to get GG’s and all that…what I’d rather get is them having less time with each turn, they can just rope and on the last second “end turn” next turn they can rope just for the same amount of time now…
It’s possible. I bring up Gwent stuff at every opportunity because when it comes to revolutionary details outside of gameplay, they’re simply second to none.
@Sheercold: I think the GG button doesn’t even show up if you concede right away. in any case, should be easily implementable.
yeah, obviously, please bring it up more btw, there really is some quality of life stuff there
Gwent, they found a very good solution.

İ agree
I like this idea, but I feel it would be abused by the salty community of HS. Every time someone loses a game to a deck they hate…no GG. Bad enough people add opponents just to abuse them after a game, this would just give them more ammunition in being a dick. Further to that, would we get people adding friends to hurl abuse for NOT GGing after the game as well?
That’s not a problem because we already have that “no GG”. So any GG given is a win.
Yeah, but I’m the kind of person who would GG almost everyone only to find out that nobody GG’s back…and probably still GG everyone anyway
I dislike all of blizzard’s meddling (removal of Vanish) especially when it doesn’t explain their thinking in the news releases.
Despite all of their meddling, they fail to do anything to address long stating issues like slow-play. Also their trouble ticket system was infuriating, and I was once essentially blamed for being verbally abused.
Unfortunately they do not find a solution…It’s really troublesome !!!
Now, that’s what I’m playing ( against those who play like this )
