Long story short, I’ve been away from Hearthstone for quite a while. Came back recently and about half hour I’ve had my first actual pvp game. Kinda looking for some clarity here because what I just witnessed is a special kind of stupid, surely the game wouldn’t have intended game breaking mechanics? Right?
I built a new mage deck, seemingly I was doing quite well. I had 24 hero hp whilst the DH had 9. The next round, I would have been able to finish it… But somehow, the DH had managed to spam their hero ability up to 25 damage and just finish the game?
I’ve been unable to replicate this and can’t find any examples of this online anywhere else and my long time player friends have never seen anything like this… either way, exploit or not, that’s so broken.
Only way I can see this happening with the hero power specifically is if the Demon Hunter summoned a Coldarra Drake and a Felfire Deadeye. How that could happen, I have no idea.
What seems more likely to me is that they had a bunch of cards that gave their hero attack, like Fury, Chaos Strike, Gan’arg Glaivesmith, Relentless Pursuit and so on, discounted via either Skull of Gul’dan or the Demon Hunter questline.
You can get a Coldarra Drake from the legendary that turns all minions in your deck into dragons.
If this is what happened then you got unlucky and died to a deck that’s designed to win 1 in 50 games and you happen to be that 1. Every chance you will never see that happen again.
blud manz need to remove demon hunter from the game srs…been saying it for years.
Thanks for the replies people. Seems like there’s a lot of people annoyed with DH
just a shame that such a ‘tactic’ even exists.
Nothing new. Just a different class stopping everyone from making legend
